I ventured to make a completely-from-scratch homemade Coconut Cream pie last month and it came out great! I also made a homemade Sausage Stromboli once that came out perfect! I always burn cookies...not too good at making muffins either. I do not do yeast - anything that requires yeast I stay away from cause I just can't get it right....my very first attempt to cook for close friends, I had just moved to NM and tried making Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas...they gave me freshly roasted gr ch to use...didn't know I was supposed to peel it first!
