Banana Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly, and I thought these were pretty disappointing. My two-year-old wasn't really into them either. Seems like something is missing.

Spinach and Cheese Stuffed Pasta Shells

Reviewed: May 7, 2009
This is the basic stuffed shells recipe that I was hoping it would be! I thought the fennel seed was a little much, so next time I won't add that. I also added hot italian sausauge to half of the cheese/spinach mixture for my husband.

Pollo Fajitas

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
holy chicken fajitas! These were so good. I honestly have never made chicken fajitas before because I never wanted to use a preservative-filled packet of seasoning, so I am super excited to finally have a recipe that I can make at home. Thanks!

Zucchini Yogurt Multigrain Muffins

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
I think I did so many modifications to this that they didn't turn out as well as they could have. I used all whole-wheat flour, 3/4 sugar, and omitted the oil completely for applesauce. I drained the zucchini but not the carrots. They were a little to moist (which I didn't know was even possible). Will probably drain the carrots next time. However, they had a good flavor. They weren't excessively sweet. My two year old loved them, as did my neighbor's 3 kids. Good way to sneak some veggies. Will probably make them again, but stick a little closer to the original recipe.

Not so much. It was edible, that's about it. Won't be making this again.

Green Beans with Bread Crumbs

Reviewed: May 3, 2009
Yuck! The bread crumbs were mushy and completely unappetizing. I hardly ate mine, and my husband took one bite and threw the rest away. Definetly will not be making this again.

Enchiladas

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2009
ick, couldn't taste anything but the red sauce, and I didn't even use the amount the recipe called for. Will be looking for another ground beef enchilada recipe.

Easy Mexican Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2009
Pretty good... I added the recipe Taco Seasoning I to the meat. I used black beans instead of chili beans. The chips turned to mush, I don't really see the point of them. It had good flavor and will definetly be making it again.

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
Tasty! I only added 1 can of refried beans (totally forgot the other), omitted the olives (ick), and added taco seasoning (I used Taco Seasoning I from this site). Cheap, easy, and made a lot of food!

Roasted Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2009
Yum! I used a rotisserie chicken, whole wheat flour, and added some garlic powder. The entire pot was consumed in less than 24 hours. Will be making this again. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2009
This soup was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. I only had one can of tomatoes. Instead of using a taco seasoning packet, I used the "Taco Seasoning I" recipe from this site. I'll probably make it again.

Campbell's® Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork Sandwiches

Delicious! I added a few splashes of liquid smoke to it. It was done in about 6-7 hours on high. My husband loved it and asked to add it to our regular rotation. Thanks :)

Taco Seasoning I

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
I've been wanting to find a good combination of seasonings for tacos because I know how bad those packets are for you... THIS IS IT! It was awesome, my husband loved it, and like a lot of the other reviewers, we will never go back to using the packet! :)

Super good. Used beef broth instead of water, and added some minced garlic. My family loved it :)

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
This was my first time using a slow cooker, and the first time I've ever made beef stew... it turned out wonderful, my husband loved it! I seasoned the beef with some garlic herb seasoning before browning it. Next time I'll probably add more veggies and maybe some garlic... delicious! Definetly will make again.

Hugh's Dry Rub

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2008
wow, this recipe makes a LOT!! My husband and I both really enjoyed this recipe. We added about 3 tbsp of brown sugar as well. Like the other recipes said, this is a RUB, and a little goes a long way. It was very good and we will definetly use it again (especially since we have so much left over) :)

Maria's Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
I thought it turned out really good, but my husband wouldn't eat it because it "looks gross". I used thin-sliced chicken breasts and just folded them over the filling. I marinated the breats in Italian dressing like other reviewers suggested. I put the filling left over over the top of the breasts. I thought it was good!

Golden Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2008
These turned out great, a nice new way to make pork chops! I did saute the mushrooms and onions first in some butter, adding some chopped garlic towards the end. I browned the pork chops before putting them in the oven. I only used 1 1/2 cans of soup and that seemed to be more than enough. Will be making this again!
