Graham Crackers

Very easy and great tasting! I made them a few minutes ago! Yummy! I did use a little extra milk and used a bit less margarine than the recipe said. I also poked holes in them. Will use this recipe again for sure!

Gingerbread Men

I love this recipe! It's easy, delicious, fool proof & uses simple ingredients I have in my pantry. I love this because it has no molasses and I never buy molasses because it is so expensive around here.

Peanut Buttercup Hot Chocolate

its okay, the peanut butter sinks to the bottom. I don't reccomend adding peanut butter to a delicious cup of hot cocoa

Lighter Banana Muffins

Wow-for no oil & almost fat free...this is incredible!! I did use only 1/4 c sugar & 2 tbsp honey plus I added vanilla extract and cinnamon to up the flavour. The batter was very thick so i added a spoonful of sour cream. Amazing!! Tasted like regular banana bread and wasn't dry (best eaten the day of or day after so it doesn't dry out) My dad-who hates fat free, low fat or healthy anything LOVED it (i didnt even tell him it was low fat) Making it again right now! Great base recipe to experiment with :)

Banana Cream Pie I

I did not care for this recipe. the bananas were mushy and the pie was runny. tasted ok and the crust was soggy!!! not worth the effort.

Dutch Coffee Custard (Hopjesvla)

Really good recipe! I reccomend adding a dash of salt and VERY strong coffee, the flavour was a tiny bit bland. I did use less sugar and it was sweet enough. The sugar turned hard as rock when i added the milk but it melted after. Will definitly make again!

Sweet and Sour Meatballs II

With a couple changes, these were excellent!! For the sauce I used 3/4c water, 1/4c vinegar, 1/3 cup sugar and a little more soya sauce. Fast and easy! yummy this recipe is a keeper!

Banana Muffins I

These are the BEST banana muffins i've ever had!!!!!!!!!!! They're moist, tatse like bananas even though you only need about 2 bananas, they are sooooo easy to make, and don't have to bake in the oven very long. I couldn't keep my eyes off of them...they looked so great...and i could smell them, mmmm so delisious! Thanks for sharing this recipe!

Oatmeal Whole Wheat Quick Bread

I used sour cream instead of oil. Turned out okay. I put it in a loaf pan and had to bake for 30min not 20 and i love the taste of it. Recommend adding more salt. Very dense!! But considering the quickness & easy ingredients....its good.

Homemade Flour Tortillas

Wow, I'm pleasantly surprised. They taste very good! I used 1/2 whole wheat flour and 1/2 all purpose flour and it worked out great. I also used margarine instead of lard, used a but more than it says. I didn't have lard so that's why I used butter, worked great. I also used hot water instead of cold and that worked great too! The only thing I have to say is that It takes time to make them (rolling them out) and if you leave them in the skillet too long they turn hard and break easily.

Lemon Coconut Squares

I made these one day and they were amazing!! They are so easy to make and taste delicious and I made them for the fair and I got 1st prize!! They don't even need cream cheese which is expensive, so this is a great recipe!! I love the coconut, it gives a dash of flavour to the already sweet and flavorfull treat!
