Sugar Cookie Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
I am the cookie baker in my family and everyone loved it! Followed the recipe exactly and it was delicious. It is very sweet, but we didnt mind at all. I used it to frost the Soft Sugar Cookies IV from this site and they worked really well together. I will be making this again!

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
These were fabulous! For Christmas I used red velvet cake, cream cheese frosting and white chocolate. They were a hit with everyone. I have also made them with devils food cake, milk chocolate icing and dipped in semi-sweet chocolate....for the chocoholic in your life! I will definitely be using this recipe again!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2008
I don't know what I did wrong but this sauce did not have the thai flavors I was expecting. It just tasted like peanut butter. And although I normally love peanut butter on most anything, I did not like this recipe at all. I ended up ordering a pizza instead.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2008
I used 4 lbs. of chicken quarters (bone-in, skin on) so I increased the amount of lemon juice and water. I didn't have dried oregano, so I substitued a mix of dried italian seasoning, poultry seasoning and lemon pepper. Overall, great flavors. I made enough chicken to use the leftovers in empanadas the next day. Great recipe!

Best Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2008
I made this salad for a family get together and everyone loved it. I added celery and fresh red onion to the salad (instead of dried onion) and it tasted great. I also used a little more than 1 cup of cucumber. I substituted red wine vinegar for the white wine vinegar. I also followed the recommendations of one of the reviewers and whisked the vinegar, oil and mayonaisse together. The cheese and the ham really added an extra layer of flavor to the salad.
