Easter Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2011
This is a great base recipe. I browned the hash brown potatoes in the oven first then added the egg mixture and baked until it was golden brown. I did substitute sausage for bacon and mexican cheese blend for plain cheddar. It was awesome!!

Awesome cookies!! I took these to a St. Patrick's Day party and the adults and kids ate every cookie. Lots of people asking for the recipe!

Hash Brown Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2010
i really liked it. We used cubed hash browns and they need more time in the oven when toasting the crust. Otherwis, it was very good.

The whole family liked it; however, we all thought it was a bit too sweet. Definitely less sugar next time.

Chicken in Tarragon Cream Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
I've never made a bad review but this was way too salty. I couldn't taste any of the flavors but salt from the lemon pepper seasoning. We actually didn't eat it and I made a simple alfredo sauce instead.

Easy Lemon Cake Cookies with Icing

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Good but next time I would not use Lemon extract in the icing. It gives it a funny aftertaste. Regardless, my family loved them.

easy recipe. I used 1 can for 1 1/4 pounds lobster tail + 1 crushed garlic clove. It was easy not to overcook them. They were delicious.

Chicken In Basil Cream

Excellent! I used light cream and doubled the recipe for the sauce. I poured it over steamed brussel sprouts and bowtie noodles. Fabulous!! I will definitely make it again.

Shrimp and Feta Cheese Pasta

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2009
I followed the recipe fairly closely and it turned out well. The flavors are not very strong so next time I would try to add more spices or use fresh ones. Overall a good, quick meal.

Everyone in my house liked it but we all felt it lacked enough flavor.

Butternut Squash with Onions and Pecans

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2010
Good recipe. I followed the advice of others and parcooked the squash for 3 min in microwave. I also added a tbsp of brown sugar towards the end. I didn't have pecans but I'm sure it would've been great with them. I will use them next time.

Refreshing Summer Orzo Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
This was fabulous. I followed the directions except we cut the feta in half. We had it cold at a summer pond party and I received rave reviews!! Healthy, tasty, and the kids liked it too. Was very good hot off the stove also. This is a winner!

Grilled Lemon Chicken

Excellent!! Followed the recipe exactly except for the red bell pepper (we didn't have any). It only marinated for 20 minutes but the flavor was terrific.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
I only gave it four stars because I modified the recipe a bit. I marinated the brussel sprouts in Wegmans basting oil rather than just olive oil. I added some salt and fresh ground pepper as well. My husband and I loved these.

Marinated Flank Steak

I marinated it for 6 hours. I grilled some red onions and asparagus that I brushed with olive oil, fresh ground pepper, and sea salt. My husband loved the steak with onion all in one bite.

It's a bit heavy but can't be any easier or tastier! We like a lighter pie but this was fabulous in a pinch.

Anthony's Lime Chicken with Pasta

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2009
My husband said it was the best thing I'd made in awhile. I cook a wide variety of things so this was quite a compliment. I did use the juice of 2 limes rather than the whole lime and I used a can of diced tomatoes with basil, oregano, and garlic. My kids (12 and 8) also loved it. This will be a staple from now on.

Shrimp, Broccoli, and Sun-dried Tomatoes Scampi with Angel Hair

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2009
Good recipe. I added 2 cloves of garlic, fresh basil, salt, and pepper and sauteed them with the sundried tomatoes. Instead of broccoli, I used asparagus and cooked it with the shrimp. Added fresh lemon juice and parmesean cheese just before serving. My 12 year old son and husband loved it.

Five Minute Ice Cream

Reviewed: May 4, 2014
Excellent!! I made it in the blender with 1 1/2 quarts of frozen strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1 1/3 cups heavy cream. It made 5-6 servings. After blending I put it in the freezer for about 2 hrs (until after dinner) and it was the perfect consistency. I could scoop it easily but it held its shape. Everyone loved it.
