I couldn't upload a photo, because there are only three crumbs left. It came out as beautiful as the photo shown though, and the taste.. perfection! I like my cornbread more on the cakey* side and not very gritty, so I used fine cornmeal, and i didn't have buttermilk, only light milk, so i gave it a shot of lemon juice before i began and followed the recipe to a *T*. Well, I accidentally put in a tsp. b. soda, but it didn't hurt the recipe at all. We had it with chili tonight, but i buttered and honeyed a small square for desert, heh. Truly, I have made a lot of cornbread but this is the best. Thank goodness for your granny! Thanks for the recipe, its going into the family file. (trust me, not many make it in there). ~~bc
