Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2012
This was delicious! I, too, boiled and browned sausage before slow cooking. For fear of too much sodium in the jarred spaghetti sauce, I used 6oz tomato paste, 8oz tomato sauce, one can (15 oz?) crushed tomatoes, one can italian style diced tomatoes, black pepper, red pepper flakes (about 1/4 tsp), 3 cloves minced garlic, and about 1/4 c chopped fresh basil. The slow cooker really created an intense sauce flavor! yummy! oh, and I only cooked 3.5-4 hours on low and sausage was tender. Followed the recommendation of more veggies, too!

Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Delicious! I added some slices of rotisserie chicken from grocer (they make a honey jalepeño flavor that matched perfectly), and this was a filling meal! Yummm

Texas Style Chicken Tequila

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
We make this all the time! Grill the chicken- it is really good this way. We like to add a whole onion-it is not too intense, just adds more veggies. you can add whatever color peppers suit your fancy. Penne pasta is our favorite to pair w/ this. ENJOY

This is great! I , too, have never cooked trout and it was impressive tasting! very moist. My filet was fairly thick so it took longer than 10 minutes until it flaked. yummmm! thank you!

Grilled Salmon with Cilantro Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2010
Delicious! The jalapeno added nice flavor. I went with 1 T butter and 1 T olive oil for my one pound of salmon- turned out fine but i could go w/ even less. I used Tony Cachere's seasoning as I don't have old bay and it was great!

Snickerdoodles II

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2008
I did not add vanilla and these were delicious! I rolled them in the sugar/cinnamon mix and used silpats on my baking sheets and did not have to worry about sugar burning yet got all the flavor from rolling them, not just dipping the tops.
