Green Slime Smoothie
This is a good and nutritious smoothie, but it definitely did have a little spinach-y aftertaste. (And I didn't use quite as much spinach as it called for.) For me, I didn't mind at all, but I had to add in some extra banana and some strawberry yogurt for my husband. The color was a little off-putting for him, but I thought it was yummy and will make this again. Definitely needs a little liquid in order to blend well if, like me, you don't have a top of the line blender. I used a little strawberry banana juice which was a nice addition.

Raspberry Lemon Muffins
These muffins are so good! I followed some other reviewers' advice and used about 2.5 T of fresh-squeezed lemon juice, instead of 1 T. I didn't have enough raspberries so used half raspberries and half blueberries. Sprinkled the tops with turbinado sugar, which baked into a nice, sweet little crust. My husband, who is not a baked goods fan ate a bunch. These were so flavorful and so good. Will definitely make again, using the same changes.

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs
I am reviewing the sauce only because I was in a major time crunch and had to use frozen turkey meatballs. (I know, I know...) I took them directly out of the freezer, browned them for maybe 5 minutes, and then added them to the sauce, simmering for 20 minutes just like the recipe states. I did make about 1/3 more sauce than called for and it was much better sauce ratio, especially if serving over rice like I did. This was easy and delicious. Even my toddler shoveled it down. I look forward to making the meatballs the next time I make this, and there definitely will be a next time!
