Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2015
Very good recipe! We really like brussel sprouts, but this recipe was even better, because it took out some of the bitterness. I panicked when they started turning so brown, but should not have. The browner/blackish they get, the better they are! Could have used a little more salt and maybe some garlic. Will definitely make again!

Reuben Sandwich II

Great recipe! I did use a little more Thousand Island dressing than called for, and I cooked it on medium low for about six minutes per side. Loved it!

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

I did not add the cayenne pepper because some of my family does not like spice (I do!!!). It was still an absolutely fantastic recipe. They were beyond delicious!

This was really good! The only thing I will do differently is to use lower sodium taco mix. Great recipe & so easy!

Easy Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2014
Easy & delicious recipe. I only had 16 oz of chicken broth, so I added a can of water and a bouillon cube. I added parsley flakes & a little salt and pepper to the dumplings, as I always do. So easy & good!

Spinach Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2010
Wonderful recipe that we all enjoyed! I did not have pimento peppers, so I did not add them. Next time I will definitely double the spinach sauce, because it was SO yummy! I did take the suggestions of other reviewers and added S&P to the chicken coating, and I added garlic to the sauce. There were NO leftovers!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2010
I took the advice of other reviewers and did not use the flour. I also used canned mushrooms, because I did not have any fresh on hand. Our family loved this recipe. Easy & delicious!

'Chinese Buffet' Green Beans

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2009
Excellent recipe! It is now one of our very favorite vegetable recipes! I left out the white sugar, and I used garlic powder (was out of fresh garlic). I was so anxious to try this recipe, and the first time all I had was frozen green beans, and it was still excellent. After that, I have used fresh, but I think it was just as good with the frozen. Thanks so much for this very tasty recipe!

Turkey Loaf

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
Very flavorful recipe! My entire family and neighbor thought it was wonderful! Instead of the bread crumbs, I used 3/4 cup oatmeal (healthier) and 1/2 cup milk (since some reviewers said it was slightly dry). I will make this very often, and it was so EASY! Excellent recipe!

Pork Tenderloins with Roasted Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
Excellent tasting meal and the potatoes were exceptional (the carrots I added too). I used turkey tenderloins (2-3/4 pound ones) and doubled the recipe. Since I did not have rosemary, so I used poultry seasoning in its place. I also added carrots (don't slice carrots thin or they will burn) with the potatoes. I only had about four hours to marinate, but the taste was still wonderful! My entire family loved this meal, and I plan to make it many, many times.

Gumbo Style Chicken Creole

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
Excellent & absolutely delicious recipe! Since others advised using chicken broth, but I did not have any, I added a cup of water and a boullion packet. I also added a little more hot sauce, since we like things spicy. It was wonderful!

Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
I did as someone else suggested and used onion soup mix and 2 cups of water, because I did not have French onion soup. This recipe was absolutely delicious, and my entire family (2 are picky eaters) loved it! The meat is tender and the gravy is scrumptious!

Chicken with Stuffing

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2008
Excellent recipe -- easy and very tasty. The chicken comes out extremely tender. In fact, I think it is the first time in 30 years, my husband told me how tender the chicken was! I followed the recipe exactly.
