About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I can cook many things and enjoy them all, but I recently realized after all these years of cooking I don't have a specialty or a favorite. So I am here to discover or perfect what my favorite thing to cook is.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite memories about cooking is watching my Dad and Mom take turns cooking or baking. They have taught me most of what I know about cooking and I plan on expanding that and passing it on to my kids.
My cooking tragedies
My siblings and I were making my parents breakfast in bed once and we spilled a few coffee grinds in the scrambled eggs and decided to cook them anyway. They turned out green! My parents laughed and still ate them. I was about 10 years old.

Chef John's Rhubarb Crisp
This is just what I was looking for! The only slight changes I made was orange zest and juice instead of lemon and I cubed instead of diced the rhubarb. This one is going in the archives. Thank you!

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Agave and Spicy Mustard
Made these exactly as suggested and they were a big hit with the family!

Dumplings
Delicious! The only problem is I wish I made more. I don't normally like dumplings but my husband does and we both loved them in my chicken soup. I used gluten free flour and made them small like some suggested. Thank you!
