Pork Meatballs

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
Great pork balls! I used italian seasoning and cooked as stated. After cooking I drained all the liquid and made a roux then added the cooking liquid back in. Made a great gravy to go over the yummy and moist pork balls.

Cheese Herb Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 23, 2012
Excellent Bread. I didn't have any milk powder so I replaced 1/4 cup of water for skim milk. Unfortunatley I ran out of marjoram but I'm sure with that addition this bread would be even better.

Sausage-Stuffed French Loaf

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2012
Really yummy. I left out the onion, sausage and fennel. Added in ketchup, worchestire, italian seasoning, garlic powder, thyme and red pepper flakes. You can really change this recipe up any way you want. The bread turned out nice and crunchy. Will be making again. UPDATE: Made this again using chicken breast. I boiled three breast in water for 20 minutes over medium heat. Then chopped up and threw in my food processor. Then combined the chicken, cheese, an egg, some bread crumbs, teryaki sauce, red pepper flakes and s/p. Turned out awesome!

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2012
This recipe is not a five star as written. People have changed the recipe and then rated it a five star. Be aware. I followed the recipe and man oh man the chops turned out so salty we could not eat them. We ended up throwing them out and I didnt add any salt!

Jo-Ann's Power Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2012
Awesome bar! I didn't have the cereal so I threw in more oats. Left out the oil and didn't use as much dried fruit. I didn't think they would hold together but they do. I only cooked mine for about 18 minutes. I love that there is no butter in this recipe. Thanks!

This is a great recipe! I also didn't use as much water and only used about six cups of apples. Super yummy.

Yummy Roll Ups

These are easy to assemble and everyone liked them. No need for toothpicks because the cream cheese holds these together. I used baby dill and baby gherkin pickles.

Slow Cooker Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
This stuffing is awesome! I left out the mushrooms and added in a package of sage sausage. Did not precook. I just tore into bite size pieces and threw right in the crockpot. I also made a loaf of "French Bread Rolls To Die For" and a loaf of "French Baguettes" a few days in advance. Then the night before I cut up into cubes and toasted in the oven on 350 for about fifteen minutes. I also did not need all the liquid called for. Superb!

Sweet Green Bean Bundles

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2011
Absolutely love this dish. Made on Thanksgiving so I was trying to do everything I could in a crockpot including this. Turned out awesome! Pre-cooked the bacon in the oven, dabbed with papertowels, chopped up then threw everything in the crockpot. Cooked on low for six hours. Great recipe!
