Yummy! I left out the capers and parsley and used Tilapia. The sauce is so good! Will be making again.

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2010
These potatoes rock! I halved the recipe and left out the sour cream (yuck) and only added 1 tbls of butter. As they were in the slow cooker I occasionally added some of the cooking water. The method of boiling the potatoes with the garlic and bouillon is key. I used a whole clove for the boiling process and then discarded. BF does not like chunks. Delicious!

Chocolate Crinkles II

Not the best cookie but when you are craving chocolate and don't want to eat a ton of calories or fat this is a good choice. Very pretty too.

Herbed Corn

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2010
I cannot believe how good this corn is. I had a boring box of frozen corn w/ butter to use and decided to give this a try. Good decision. I fried up in a pan leaving out the butter the recipe called for. Will be making again.

Delicious! I skipped the butter and used EVOO instead. I had thighs to use up and boy they turned out great.

I only let mine marinate for an hour and they turned out awesome. I coated once and baked at 350 for 35 minutes turning once. Made a honey mustard sauce to go with. Delicious.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
Delicious! We don't eat sour cream so I replaced with plain yogurt that I let drain in a coffee filter to get rid of all the water. I also added in some shredded mozzarella cheese, cayenne, garlic pdr and a little italian seasoning. So good!

Absolute Best Pancake Syrup

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
This is to die for! I was so impressed how good this turned out. Bye Bye bottled syrup. I made the day before I needed so when I went to use the next day I was able to take off all the "fat" from the top. Reheated perfectly.

We loved these. I used fresh blueberries and once I placed pancake on griddle I then put the blueberries on. Worked out great. I also did not let sit for an hour. Delicious!

Sweet Dinner Rolls

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2010
These are fabulous. I did the dough in my bread machine but then had to add more flour to make more workable. I cut into 36 pieces and dropped three into each muffin tin. Buttered the tops and baked for 13 minutes. Came out with 12 beautful clover leaf muffins.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2010
We really liked this bread a lot. I made it more of a wheat bread though by using 1 cup of regular flour and 3 cups of wheat flour (its all I had). Next time I will use bread flour. I love being able to whip up a great loaf of bread in a couple hours.

I love this. The flavor is unique for fish. I broiled mine for 5 minutes after baking to get more of a crust. Yummy!

Holy Cow! These are awesome! I did this in my bread machine which made it so easy. We topped ours with garlic pdr, parmesan and italian seasoning. I first brushed with garlic butter from this site. Will be making this recipe for a long time to come.

Delicious Healthy Strawberry Shake

I only used 1 cup skim milk. I added 1/4 cup of plain yogurt and just a splash of almond extract. Along with the honey and vanilla extract it is super yummy. I made it tonight for tomorrow's breakfast. Can't wait to drink it!

Ham and Cheese Bowties

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2010
Made a few changes to make a little healthier. I used whole wheat pasta, skim milk and cut back on the butter. Used the whole amount of cheese and threw in some cayenne, nutmeg and mustard powder (instead of mustard). Turned out great!
