Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2010
This is great. If you love lemon you will love this. I followed the recipe exactly. The cake does come out very dense. I was not able to cut the cakes in half to have a 4 tier. Next time I will use cake flour.

I made these with cabbage. I like sauerkraut but did not have any. I had a half a head of cabbage I needed to use. They turned out great. I baked at 350 for 20 minutes.

This is a great recipe. I followed the directions however the coating did not stick well. They did get crunchy though. If you love rosemary you will love these.

Very good. I didn't have teriyaki sauce so I used soy sauce. Used chicken thighs. Great grilled flavor.

I love this recipe! I chopped up my cabbage and added cayenne. Did not have any bacon so had to skip that. So delicious and simple to make. I grilled for 40 minutes. Can't wait to make again!

Really good meatballs. I left out the onion and did not have peach preserves so used raspberry instead. Great flavor.

Yummy! I did not have apple juice so replaced with orange juice. Worked great. I let marinate for an hour and only grilled for a few minutes on each side (thin chops). Will make again.

Pan-Fried Asparagus

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2010
Awesome. It's like I'm eating asparagus from a nice restaurant. I used less butter but more EVOO. Next time I won't cook for quite so long. I like mine to have more of a crunch.

Broiled Sweet and Tangy Tilapia

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2010
My new favorite! Cut some fat by replacing the butter with EVOO. Had no vinegar (yuck) so I used raspberry jam. Also no tarragon so replaced with dill. I also added a bit of marjoram and basil. Delicious! I think this recipe would also be great on chicken.

Jamie's Minestrone

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
I thought this soup was bland. Maybe it is because I did not use onion or celery, I never do though. After cooking all day long and adding a few ingredients it came out pretty good.If I had only cooked for the time stated in would not have been good. I used all chicken broth for more flavor and added red potatoes and cabbage. It makes a lot.

This was really good. I left out the tomatoes (don't like) and used tomato paste. I also felt it needed some more liquid so I added a little half n half.

Black Bean Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2010
This is a great side. I had to add some chicken broth due to it getting a bit dry. I used red pepper instead of green. Totally forgot to add the cheese, but it was great without.
