Delicious! After I fried the chicken I put in two tbls of butter, a little chicken broth and the lime juice. Cooked for several minutes then poured over the chicken. Next time I may use another lime.

Root Beer Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2010
What a great unique flavor these chops have. I marinated overnight. Did not have chipotle hot sauce so used Franks Extra Hot instead. I also added cornstarch to the sauce to make it more of a gravy. Who would have thought Rootbeer?

Spicy Black Bean Cakes

Great recipe. I don't like sour cream so instead I used salsa. They really don't need any kind of dip or topping but it did add a little something extra.

A terrific marinade and sauce. I saved the marinade and boiled it along with a cup of beef broth and 2 tblsp of cornstarch. Turned out wonderful!

Low Fat Zesty Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2010
The marinade and breading are great. I made the honey mustard dip but did not care for it so I made my old standby recipe with Miracle Whip, honey, dijon and steak sauce. Excellent recipe though. Will make again.

Pasta Hot! Hot! Hot!

Reviewed: May 27, 2010
Really good stuff. For so few ingredients it turned out really great. I crushed my garlic and threw it in with the EVOO (that way I could pick it out later). I wanted a bit of a crunch so I crushed up some croutons and mixed them in. Delicious!

Taco Salad I

Reviewed: May 24, 2010
I used ground turkey and taco sauce instead of french dressing. So good! I chopped up some romaine and avacado and threw that in. I also used spicy chili doritos. Everyone loved it. Can't wait to make again!

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: May 21, 2010
I left all the veggies out. Mixed skim milk with a T of cornstarch before I added to pan. Man is this stuff great! Fried the chicken in EVOO instead of butter. Felt good eating it because I cut all those calories and you wouldn't even know it. I also added extra cajun seasoning.

Delicious! I halved the recipe and it made 12 beautiful rolls. Baked for 15 minutes and they came out perfect. Made garlic butter from this site to go with...oh sooo good!

What a great recipe. I used raspberry preserves left out the cilantro and used lemon instead of lime. It's what I had on hand. This is one to serve to guests.

Good flavor with easy dough to work with. I made in a muffin pan. Used two balls of dough in each. A little chewy.

Mexican Baked Fish

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
Not bad. I used Tilapia. I think the salsa made the fish a bit watery, so I cooked longer and then broiled for a few minutes.

Southwestern Egg Rolls

These little things rock! I would highly suggest to use egg roll wrappers. They are super easy to work with and look great. I sprayed the tops with Pam and baked at 475 for 10 min. I made guacamole to go with. Delicious!

Raspberry Cheese Spread

This went over very well. It was not the most appetizing looking dish, but it was still enjoyed. I left out the pecans. Next time I will add them in.

Fabulous! I made mine on graham crackers and did have to change the topping up a bit. I didn't have chocolate chips so instead I used a mixture of white choc chips and peanut butter chips. Delicious!

Chicken Paprikash I

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
BF's mom used to make this for him all the time. I have never made it. So I was a little nervous how mine would hold up. He loved it! I used chicken breast and plain yogurt in place of the sour cream. I ended up adding more paprika at the end.

I have two chihuahuas. They love these! The dough is so easy to work with. I bought a tiny bone shaped cutter to use. They turned out so cute. The recipe made a ton.
