Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Thanksgiving Day favorite! I added cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Also mixed the apples with the sauce. Make sure to foil line your baking sheet in case of spillage. I baked for an hour at 350.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
Turkey turned out awesome! I skipped the parsley and used onion powder. Covered the breast with foil until the last hour of cooking and baked at 330 degrees. I stuffed with Bread and Celery Stuffing from this site. Turned out a beautiful golden color and delicious!

Bread and Celery Stuffing

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2012
I used bagged bread cubes and doubled the recipe. Good thing I did because it was a huge hit. I was able to stuff the turkey full and still have a 9 x 11 dish. Will make again next year.

Spicy Hot Chicken Legs

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2012
Very good. I left mine in my crock pot for about six hours on low. The meat fell off the bones it was so tender. I don't care for skin but cooking it this way didn't bother me at all.

Ricotta Mochachino

Reviewed: May 15, 2012
I thought this was really good. I made it low carb by using three packets of Splenda, sugar free vanilla syrup, sugar free chocolate syrup and leaving out the powdered coffee and cocoa powder. I blended the mixture and then poured over ice. There were a few bits of ricotta in the drink but it didn't bother me. Texture was fine.

J.P.'s Big Daddy Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2012
Great dough to work with. I used all the milk called for which ended up being a bit to much. I had to knead in a little flour to compensate. I replaced the shortening with butter. After I got the dough to the right consistency it was a breeze. I used a juice glass to cut out the biscuits. After eleven minutes they were perfect. Smelled wonderful and looked great. Fabulous recipe.
