Incredible the first day and as left overs from the freezer. My family loves this one!

Venison with Blackberry Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2014
What a great change. Even made it so that those that have always said, "I don't like venison." all of a sudden take a second look... and a second helping. That is a good thing with picky eaters!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Made a double batch of this for a big family get together in the middle of the cold cold Winter. Everybody loved it. I will certainly be making this one of my favorites on my rotation of meals in the cooler months.

Perfect, absolutely perfect. A nice change from my husband's Germany cuke salad. The ginger adds so much to this.

It is sweet. A little too sweet for our taste but it was great for a party we went to... quick and easy!

Potato Leek Soup III

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
Such a wonderful recipe. To cut back on some of the calories I replaced the heavy cream with half & half. It was wonderful. I also cut the butter in half which caused no issues and was a great way to cut out some of the fat. What a great meal to have as a comfort food!

Creamy Chipped Beef Fondue

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2008
Make sure you rinse off the chipped beef really really well before making this. I rinsed ours quickly thinking it would be enough but it wasn't. Ours was very salty... too salty actually to eat. Not quite my mother's recipe as I remember it. I'm giving it three stars because maybe it was some fault of my own that this was a flop. It did have the right texture and the cream sauce was wonderful before we added the meat. I'll try it again with well rinsed beef!
