Honey Lemon Cookies

Reviewed: May 14, 2010
This is a great recipe! Took them to a bar for a b-day party. As soon as I got people to eat them, they flew off the plate! Two guys actually confiscated the plate from me and hid with them! The only reason I gave less than five stars is my husband says it needs to be "more lemony" I will figure out what that means by tweaking the recipe to his liking. He's my ultimate critic.

Coconut Bon Bons

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2008
I would have loved to give 5 stars because these were fantastic but only after I made modifications. I used almost 5 cups of coconut and only 1/2 pound of sugar. Turned out delicious. Though a bit messy, with well greased hands generously covered with powdered sugar, not that big of a deal. I didn't have to refrigerate the balls before coating them. I used a shallow bowl, microwaved the chocolate, dropped the balls in with a spoon and rolled them around. With a couple of minutes in the freezer they were ready to eat!! My kids and husband were begging for more. I hope this helps anyone having trouble with this recipe! Very tasty! Thank you!!

Authentic Mexican Tortillas

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
I made a dozen of these bad boys for lunch-time fajitas for my family. Between myself, my husband and two small children, they didn't last half an hour!! They were super easy and tasty! My son, who HATES all things bread, ate his no problem and my daughter had three! She never finishes anything we fix her to eat! Thank you so much! And the recipe doubles for sopapillas!!

Soft Sandwich Buns

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2008
A very good recipe, though it was entirely too sweet for my liking. The family LOVED it! I added 4 t whole wheat gluten to the recipe as well to make it extra stretchy and fluffy. I made another batch with only a few T sugar and was much more to my taste! Thank you for this recipe!!

Outstanding! A little work so make sure you have plenty of time and a couple of extra hands, but well worth it!

I made these for my husband's company potluck and they lasted all of five minutes! I'm glad I made myself a separate batch (shhh!). So simple and very tasty. A recipe I will repeat often!

Enchilada Stack

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
I made this for my husband's company potluck. Personally, I am not a fan but I'm very picky. Everyone else ate it and wouldn't let me take the leftovers home!

Naan Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2008
I loved the recipe but had to make it my own! (Of course!!) I am job hunting so I couldn't afford the risk of poppy seeds in my drug test, so I rolled the dough in a light dusting of powdered sugar for a little something. I couldn't imagine turning my oven to 500 degrees in August in TX so I fried mine. They turned out fantastic and very chewy! I made some honeybutter and the family went crazy! Thank you for a great treat!
