Interested in turning my favorite recipe into diabetic friendly dishes. Cut out red meat and pork, instead eat seafood, salmon, some chicken and turkey & feel so much better. Looking for every opportunity to get my veggies, beans and legumes in daily. I count carbs, not calories and lost 10 pounds over the 2010 Holiday season (from Thanksgiving to Christmas). Wahoo!!!

Devolping our own special wet and dry rubs for BBQ, developing the secret behind perfect no-lump mash potatoes, cooking turkeys upside down so all the juices flow to breast meat. Never a dry turkey again & my grandmother thought I was a genius. My son and I love cooking panini and having panini parties for friends.
My cooking triumphs
The best stuffing ever was acheived for Thanksgiving 2005, my fried razor clams are amazing, I make a mean frozen mocha, and I am really in love with making breakfast for dinner.
My cooking tragedies
Green bean cassarole - never again. Cream of Tomato soup from scratch - great recipe, I am just doing something wrong.
