Foolproof Rib Roast

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2014
I have to say, I was so nervous about this cooking method, especially since the meat was pretty expensive and I had never cooked one before. I ended up getting (2) 2.5 cuts. I sat them on the counter for about an hour, and sprinkled salt, pepper and Steak seasoning. I placed in a pre heated 375 oven for 30 minutes, turned off the oven and although tempted, didn't open the oven door. I let sit for one hour and 15 minutes, then turned back on to 375 for another 20 minutes. I let sit on counter for another 10 to 15 before slicing. This was absolutely amazing, simple and delicious. There was enough juice in the pan for dipping and I can't wait for the next holiday to try again! Thank you for sharing.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2014
This is great. We have added this to our meal rotation and make once every 6 weeks or so. Great flavor, and even better left over the next day. We melt provolone on some lightly buttered rolls, bake for a few and then serve with a small side bowl of the dipping sauce. My son loves to add a bit of horseradish sauce to his. GREAT RECIPE

Bill's Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2014
We are a family that loves our sausage gravy. The problem with so many recipes is that it just comes out too plain. This was great, and a small dribble of maple syrup in it finished it off perfectly. Our new Sunday morning recipe

we really enjoyed. I did triple the honey called for and used olive oil instead of the butter, but the flavor was very good.

very easy, simpe to make. family loved. I do not care for for all my food "mixed" up, so I am not a huge fan of the pie, but they definitely enjoyed.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
My husband very much enjoyed this recipe, however I was slightly disappointed with the overall flavor. I let the chicken marinade overnight, and perhaps that made the flavor too strong. Will try again, esp since he has requested again.

this was a good soup, but i felt it turned out a little bland in flavor, I tried adding a little garlice powder and some extra pepper. family enjoyed and we had enough for lunch the next day.... note: be sure to make sure the potatoes are cooked thoroughly and completely soft!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
Wow! I was really wondering how good this recipe would be... nearly perfection. I actually did this for Christmas dinner, and since there were only five of us, I made two smaller chickens. I rubbed both, placed in saran wrap, cooked one the next day and waited until the next day to cook the second. They were both delicious, even though the second chicken I did not have time to "slow cook", I cooked for about 1 1/2 hours on 350. Both cooking times turned out fantastic, although the slow cooking method was slightly more moist... I am not sure if this has more to do with the slower cooking or the fact the second chicken sat in the fridge for an extra day. Highly recommend this recipe. Perfect for a weekend day

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
I hate to rate recipes that I have altered, it doesnt seem fair to the posted recipe. I did not use the pork tenderloin, just because of the difference in the pricing. Turned out delicious! Used about 3 times the amount of root beer called for since my pork was so much bigger. Turned out fantastic, and with the amount of meat, ended up with enough for two meals, just put back in slow cooker for the second day and was even more moist and tender.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2008
I have to say, I was a bit skeptical, it seemed to simple to be a really great recipe. I followed the recipe as written with the exception of taking other's advice and marinating the chicken in the taco mix with about 2/3 cup of water. I also had some peppers and onions that were cooked and left from fajitas last night that I poured on top of the chicken while baking. This was really great! So nice and simple, and one of the nicest things was that all of the ingredients are usually in the fridge and/or pantry. Great addition to the list of meals we will enjoy over and over! Thank you

excellent, I cut way down on the mushroom stems and used a bit of sweet italian sausage at my teenage daughter's request. Loved the suggestions of placing mix in a plastic bag. They turned out perfect and my family devoured them on Christmas. thank you

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2008
these were delicious! followed the recipe exactly. Used 4 of the largest baking potatoes I could find, and took suggestions from other reviewers and left about 1/4" of the potato in the bottom for some support. We ate 4 of them (boy are they huge) and I put the other 4 in saran wrap and froze for a quick side dish next week. thanks!
