Chicken Fajita Melts

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
This recipe came out very good. The only thing I did different was used green peppers from my garden to use them up. I will use the red peppers from now on. The green was a little bitter. But this recipe is a keeper for me. Thanks! Oh & thanks for the tip on toasting the bread. It would have been very soggy if I hadn't done that.

Classic Red Velvet Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
This cake was very, very good! It is the first time I made a Red Velvet cake from scratch and I was very pleased. It was just the slightist bit dry but with biting into the cake with that "amazing" frosting you just could not really tell it was slightly dry. I will add extra butter as suggested and see what happens. This is a keeper. You can also be liberal in between the layers with the frosting. I could have put a lot more frosting in between the layers and did not realize it. I ended up throwing some of the frosting out! Next time I will know....Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!!!

Chicken Supreme III

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2009
This was very easy and tasty. Everyone loved it. The only thing I would do differently is add more stuffing. There did not seem to be enough stuffing to go around. I served it up with jellied cranberry sauce which just made it all the better. Thanks for a quick, tasty meal idea! I will make this again!!!!

Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
I made this for supper today and we thought it was excellent! The only variation I did was used Stove Top Chicken Stuffing (1 whole box) instead of the Herb Stuffing and as I said it came out fantastic> I will make this again!!!

Banana-Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2009
Just made recipe this morning and they are moist and delicious. I made this recipe as muffins. It made 2 dozen. I also changed up the recipe just a tad. I used 2/3 c. oil, 2/3 c each of regular sugar and packed light brown sugar. Added 2 cups of shredded zucchini & 3 mashed bananas. I also added 2 tbsp. of room temp. butter in the batter before adding dry ingrdients.Last was the nuts (I used finely chopped Pecan) and 1/2 cup white chocolate chips ( I did not used the cranberries, not too big on cranberries). My mother, who is a baker, tried these and loved them! She couldn't believe I got the recipe on the Internet...

Beetnik Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
This cake was unbelievably delicious! My friends husband took some home for his wife (my friend) to try (she hates beets)and let her eat it before he told her beets were in it. She argued with him that there was no way beets were in this cake....LOL. So it is that good! Taste like spice cake. I used Butter Cream Frosting 1 from Allrecipes. Everything was very, very good!

Creamy Frosting

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2009
I thought this frosting was fantastic! I did not find this recipe too difficult to make and this is the first time I made frosting from scratch. I just cooked the milk and flour until it was thick & creamy. It kind of balls up as it sits to cool. Everyone loved the taste and texture and all said it reminded them of whipped cream. Oh, I did constantly wisk the flour/milk mixture as it cooked. Don't know if that made a difference.

Bread and Butter Pickles II

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2009
I made these pickles the other day and got 13 pints out of it. I plan on making more because after my family tasted them they completely wiped me out of all that I had canned. This time I am hiding them....LOL. Thanks, fantastic taste!

Blueberry Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2009
I have made several different variations in Zucchini bread and this was the best I have ever come across. Everyone who tried it at my house was amazed at the flavor and how moist it was. I did not change 1 iota of the recipe and after making it, I don't feel the need to change anything.
