Southern meals. Yum. Biscuits and Gravy, Grits, SOS, Collard greens, chicken fried steak, and all the rest, I love it all.
My cooking triumphs
Triumphs include but not excluding finishing culinary school for International Baking and Pastry, Poached Salmon with Hollandaise, Chicken Kiev, Beer Braised Irish Stew and Colcannon, Avacado Soup and every other successful meal.
My cooking tragedies
What? As Julia Child says never admit mistakes, that was the way it was supposed to come out.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Cheese Babka
This was a surprise to everyone. I always make desserts for the holidays & I was interested in this thinking it would be like a bread meets cheese danish & I was glad I hit the head of the nail. The process was a bit complicated but I had so much fun twisting this up. Don't worry about the dried lemon peel, I just zested a lemon. I also never used farmer's cheese, I found it easily in my grocer's dairy section by friendship. Good luck & thanks it was yummy!

Charleston Breakfast Casserole
I made it as the recipe stated except I added some extra eggs & milk, was hesitant about the croutons but it turned out great. I only give it four stars because I think it still needs to jazzed up a bit with hot sauce or more stuff.
