Pumpkin Spice Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2010
This recipe turned out excellent. All I had was a 30-oz. can of Libby's pumpkin, so I doubled the recipe for 4 loaves and used the entire can. I mixed the double recipe together and split the batter between 4 pans and cooked at the same time. It turned out soft, perfectly spiced, and freezes very well. Most quick breads I've made either turn out too dry or don't rise properly, but this recipe was fool-proof! Will definitely make again.

Homemade Cream-Style Soup Mix

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
This is a great mix! The potato flakes make the difference. I've tried other mixes, but they are usually too thin and runny. This one is perfect every time. I buy vegetable flakes in bulk and add an extra two tablespoons for added flare. For those looking for vegi flakes at the grocery store, they are usually NOT in the spice isle. They are usually with the rice and beans or in the bulk food section. I also substitute salt-free poultry seasoning or salt-free all purpose seasoning for the bouillon granules for a low to no-sodium version.

Taco Seasoning I

AWESOME! I am so impressed with this seasoning mix that I tripled the recipe and made several ziplocks of it and mailed it to my family members. I can't get enough! It's great!

Whole Wheat Bread II

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
Great recipe. I split it in half (except the yeast- 2 packets) and cook two loaves. I let it rise for a litte longer, but still a great recipe. Not nearly as mealy and heavy as homemade wheat bread has a tendency to be. I don't use a machine at all, and this recipe turns out great every time.

Wonderful recipe. Way better than the store bought stuff. My husband LOVED it, and didn't even believe me that it was homemade. Definitly one of my favorites now.

Microwave Popcorn

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2009
I can't believe I bought microwave popcorn all those years *kicking self*. This is a great recipe. When I need a sweet and healthy treat I put just a few tablespoons of kernels and two teaspoons of sugar substitute in a bag and then microwave it. MUCH healthier and easier then salty or fatty snacks.

Authentic Mexican Tortillas

Great recipe. Fairly easy to make without too much fuss or clean up. These ones are easier to store than others, as they stay softer longer.
