Just made this. I followed the directions except added 1/4 c of white wine to add flavor. I let it cook down after I added the cornstarch for about 10 minutes. I plan to toss with broccoli and pasta. thanks.

These are good. I have been looking for this recipe for over a yr. I first had it from Pampered Chef as a braide. Much easier than making the crescents. Thnaks for posting.

Rich and Creamy Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2012
Awesome! I only changed a few things. I used 2lbs of stew meat since that is what I had. I added an additional 1/2 cup of water since I knew my meat needed to cook for 2 hrs to get tender. I added 1/2 tsp of Tarragon and reduced the Crushed Red pepper by half since my kids haven't quite gotten their spicy side yet. Cooked on cook top for 2 hrs and it was amazing. I did not add cream cheese. Will definately make this again to use up my stew meat. Thanks for the recipe!

Creamy Chicken With Pasta and Broccoli

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2012
Very good. I used cream of chicken with herbs and left over grilled chicken. Other then adding cracked pepper it was really good. I used penne pasta and sprinkled shredded parm over top before serving. My kids loved it!

Haddock Bubbly Bake

Wonderful and Easy. My 8 yr old said "Most Awesomest Fish". I sauteed a can of mushrooms with the onions. Sprinkled the fish with Mrs. Dash with the salt/pepper. Layered 1 lb of shrimp on top of fish, then onions, soup, and cheese. Thanks for the recipe- this one is a keeper!

This has become my go to pie recipe with my home canned cherry pie filling. Everyone loves it! I have made it as is and I have used frozen pie crust as well. Both are awesome and always gone in one sitting. Thank you so much for an easy but yummy recipe.

Wonderful Short Ribs

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
They were great. Doubled meat to meet our family size. Plenty of sauce left over. Also browned ribs with flour/garlic salt/ pepper dredge. Added light cream to sauce at end and served over pasta. Everyone enjoyed it even my 3 boys-8,7, & 3. Saving this recipe to try with swiss steak. Thanks for the recipe.

Sausage Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
This was awesome. Added 2 small gala apples and a can of chicken broth since I was going to cook it in a crock pot for 1.5 hrs on high. Used 4 cups plain bread cubes and 4 cups corn bread stuffing mix. Was asked for the recipe. Definately need to mix with hands to get the correct consistancy. Thank you for the recipe.

Refried Beans Without the Refry

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2010
These were awesome! I was a little heavy handed with the salt-but they were still great. Added two small jalapenos-bit spicy for my kids. Served over corn bread. Will always use this recipe!~

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

We loved this. I add sliced carrotts and ham. It is a complete meal that I serve with a salad and bread. It is very similar to a meal my father used to make. Very yummy & creamy.

Pork Chop Casserole III

This was good. The rice needed longer to cook. I added a can of mushrooms with the juice and buttermilk instead of water. It was nice and creamy. Did not add the bell pepper.

Roasted Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
Thjis was great. I added 4 potatoes that I cut in 4. I put them on the bottom of my crock and then added 1/2 kraut then the roast and then followed the recipe form there. The only difference I will make in the futere is to add 1/2 cup of liquid-maybe apple juice so there is more to laddel over the dinner. It was great. Just like what my hubby ate in Germany. Nicely sweet-yet tangy. Thanks for sharing.

Crab Cakes II

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
These were awesome! The only thing I changed was to add a couple of Tbs of crumbs to crab and then to form the patties in my hands with the crumbs. I also refrigerated for about 1/2 hr like a previous user mentioned. I also added 1/2 tsp of old bay. Yummy. I used left over king crab leg meat. I cooked in 1/2 marg and 1/2 O.O. till golden.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
My family enjoyed this dinner. I only changed a few things. I used 4 thick porkchops instead of 6. I added a can of mushrooms that I sauteed in butter with 1 tsp dried onion to the soup mixture. I used 1/2 cup of chardonay instead of 1/3. It did have a wine flavor, but we enjoyed it. It definately tasted different than the basic cream of mushroom recipes. I served the gravy over white rice. Very yummy
