Savory Filled Cottage Cheese Pancakes

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2010
I made these today. My boyfriend really liked them. I enjoyed them as well. The only changes I made was to use breakfast turkey sausages I cut up instead of the Canadian bacon and used frozen chopped spinach. They were great! I served them with salsa for a little added kick. Yummm!

I made this naan last night. It was a bit tough. I will try to make it again and add a bit of baking soda and reduce the amount of flour. I'm near sea level so perhaps that was the reason for the problem.

Stuffed Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
I mixed the stuffing mix w/ chicken broth, frozen chopped spinach, mushrooms, and cooked & seasoned turkey sausage. The squash was tasty, but needed to be cooked extra time in order to get the squash tender enough. I will make this again, but will microwave the squash for a bit before stuffing them and putting them in the oven.

Omelet in a Bag

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2009
Great recipe! I just made these with my nephew (10 yrs old) for a big family group. It was fun to do and everyone had their food ready at the same time. We let everyone choose their own ingredients. A good choice was pre-cooked breakfast sausage links that we chopped up. I would definitely recommend using the FREEZER bags....We used the Hefty brand, but I wouldn't think the brand would matter. The freezer variety is heavier....I saw some concern about the bags breaking....We had no issues. We served them with tortillas and taco sauce/salsa. Everyone loved them!

Pizza On The Grill II

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
We've done these at get-togethers and everyone brings a couple of toppings. I provide the dough by simply buying frozen bread dough and letting it rise before the guests arrive. I also get three kinds of sauce -- red, alfredo, and pesto. People make individual pizzas. It's a lot of fun. By having people bring toppings, you get a great variety of meats, cheeses, veggies and fruit. People always ask when we're going to do this again.

Chicken Hobo

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
I've made this/similar recipes by double-layering the foil and putting it on the outskirts of a campfire, on a grill, in the oven, and w/o the foil en masse in a pressure cooker. I don't add butter to it, but instead add zesty italian dressing over the top. Everyone I've ever served this to has loved it and has started doing it themselves.
