Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2011
This is a really good recipe. One of the best I've had. However, it stuck to all of my pans. I had nonstick pans and I sprayed them with cooking spray. I read where others used butter and theirs stuck too, so I guess it has something to do with the sugar cinnamon coating. I think next time I will try it with out the coating. It was sweet enough anyway.

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2011
Yum! This is a recipe that requires cooking experience. Milk gravy takes a while to get the hang of making. Pour your milk in slow to prevent lumping and start pouring it in once the flour turns tan not dark brown. Try, try again!

Wow! Who ever gave these a bad rating either can't bake or hates chocolate. These are now my favorite cookie.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2011
It's really good just the way it is. You'd be suprised. Ignore all the changes and keep it simple. I used fat free sour cream. The fat free cream cheese was REALLY nasty.

Curried Coconut Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
NOT what I had in mind. I was worried about the tomatoes in chicken curry, and I was right. It tasted more like chicken curry soup. It also needed almost twice the salt. I probably either wont make this again, or change it big time.

Breakfast Sausage

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2011
It's good. Taste like really fresh store brand sausage with out the fat. I was looking for a different taste though. I've had some homemade sausage that woule knock your socks off. This didn't do that for me. I use oregano in place of marjoram; I can't tell the difference in taste.

It's good, but don't plan on saving any left overs. It gels up into a slimey drink.

Black Magic Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
It's a good cake recipe, but nothing that knocks your socks off. The type of coffee you use makes a huge difference. If you use cheep nasty coffee, that will be your cake.

Five Flavor Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2011
I spent $12 dollars on flavoring for this cake. Don't waste your money. It's a really sweet, fat, cake with little flavor. Taste like a yellow cake mix with butter and coconut. Nothing special, and I wont be making it again.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2011
Good brownie when you don't have box brownies. Icing is hard to spread. I heated mine in the microwave first. I rather eat the brownies w/o the icing. Too much grease!

Bananas Foster II

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
I made it twice, and no one ate it except me; 1 out of 7 people. They didn't like the flavor. I didn't either. I didn't care for the warm bananas. Quick to make, but does not beat chocolate topping. I won't be making this again.

Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
Very good recipe. I used pecans and caramel chips in the biscotti and coated the bottoms with milk chocolate. The dough was almost like cake batter, and it took 20 minutes to dry. Other than that, this recipe is wonderful! Taste better on the third day.

Waffles I

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2011
This makes a good quick waffle if you double the salt, vanilla, and sugar. However, it does not beat my yeast waffle recipe that came with my waffle maker. It's soooo much better. Add 1/3 cup sugar and it taste like a dough nut. Check it out: http://www.food.com/recipe/good-night-waffles-202843

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2011
These cookies were super sticky. I could not make them into a ball until they where chilled. They were soft and chewey, but they lacked flavor. I rolled the remaining batch with sugar mixed with extra ginger because they were bland. They also did not want to bake done in 10 min. I probably won't be making these again.
