Thai Green Curry Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
Yep, excellent! I too added veggies, peas, carrots, onion, and celery, which I boiled in chicken stock before adding. I like other reviewers used 4 oz of curry paste and 1 can of coconut milk. I used Thai Kitchen brand curry paste. Garnished with cilantro, peanuts, coconut, and green onion. Very, very good!!!

Spicy Mock Apple Rings

Love them! I too omitted food coloring and they still a nice red from the red hots (I know-they have dye in them too). I did about 4x the recipe using cucumbers (10) and got 14 pints. A wonderful pickle to accompany any holiday dinner or family gathering.

Sparkling Holiday Jam

Fantastic! Made with 8 cups of sugar; you still have a little tart from cranberries. Also I added the juice from a lemon. The jam really sparkles in the jars.

Sangria! Sangria!

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2012
Fantastic! A wonderful recipe-I've skipped sugar and used apricot brandy. I've also topped off with either ginger ale or club soda, depending on how sweet I am in the mood for.

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2011
Delicious! I tried using 1/2 venison bacon and 1/2 pork bacon and it was excellent. Also added a bell pepper and extra onion for our personal taste. Like other reviewers I cooked the bacon and onion separately.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Best roast beef ever!!! I added onion and garlic powder and a splash of worcheshire sauce. I also used a chuch roast it was so incredibly tender no need to slice, it shredded itself. Will definately put this in my keeper section of recipes.

Caramels I

This is a fantastic recipe! As a novice candy maker I found the ball test in cold water to be more reliable than the candy thermometer. This recipe is a hit with the family during the holidays.
