Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
Changes I made were: Turkey sausage instead of bacon. I substituted cheddar cheese for the swiss, and added an extra egg, and 1/2 chopped bell pepper with the onion. I also used shredded baked potatoes from the previous night. I precooked everything the night before so I could just throw it into the casserole the next morning for an easy and Delicious breakfast! My husband who adds ketchup to EVERYTHING, said he didn't even need it on this, and that is a Big compliment! :)

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2012
5+++++++++++ stars!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband loves good Teriyaki so I decided to try this recipe! I was skeptical at first because when I started cooking the sauce it smelled like it would have too much of a vinegar flavor.. but after it was cooked all of the flavors evened out perfectly to make the best Teriyaki sauce I have ever had! My husband raved about it All night saying it was the best he ever had, and even said it could be at a fancy stake house! I did a couple changes to it... I put 1/4 brown sugar and 1/4 white, and I left out the ginger because I didn't have any. Also I used boneless skinless breasts and cut them up small so the flavor would get all around! I will be making again, thank you Marian for sharing! :)

Chicken Parmigiana

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2011
Delicious!!! I used boneless skinless chicken thighs instead of breasts and I seasoned the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic, and Cajun seasoning before breading it! I'm adding this to my recipe book!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
Good chicken, but it was a little dry, but I still give it 5 stars because it could have been my fault. I think I will use chicken thighs next time because they are more moist! This is another recipe to add to my menu! Thanks for sharing!

Fabulous Homemade Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
Delicious Bread!!!! There are only two of us, and we don't go through bread that fast so I only make one loaf at a time! I think it is a perfect mixture of wheat, white, and oat! I mixed everything by hand, and if it turns out that says a lot! :) Don't overcook your bread tho! I did that on the first batch and it dried out very fast.

Master Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2011
Delicious! I have made this a few times and it always turns out great! :) I have precooked the crust before topping it, and also topped it first. Both ways work! I used regular yeast and added a tsp of sugar while to the yeast when I proofed it.

Skillet Enchiladas

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
My husband and I both love enchiladas, and without an oven I thought they would be impossible to make.. but with this recipe that changed! I added re-fried beans, and a little of the sauce to the inside of the enchiladas, and they came out more delicious than the ones I usually make! The cream of mushroom soup added a nice creamy flavor! We love this recipe, and if you like enchiladas, I'm sure you will as well!

Kristi's Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
Delicious! My husband says this one is a keeper! =) It was a little dry, but I will still give it 5 stars because it doesn't deserve 4! I think next time I will try adding a little more liquid, or covering it with tin foil as while it bakes! Thank you for sharing your recipe!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2011
This recipe is absolutely delicious!:-) My husband loves letting bananas get over-ripe now because he knows the outcome! I made the recipe exactly as written, and also one batch I added 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips, which made it even more moist and delicious like a dessert! This is going to be a regular recipe for my family! Thank you!
