Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
I am very picky about mac & cheese, and wanted to make something that rivaled my husband's aunt's version (the best I have ever tasted). They are secretive about their recipe, so I've been searching for something that can top it. This recipe is it. My husband ate half the pan. I didn't change the recipe other than to add more cheese (I think I used two cups each). I would have liked it to be a little more creamy or gooey-cheesy, but I've been forbidden by my husband to change it because "it's perfect as it is. I don't think I'll ever eat another kind of mac & cheese again. So good.

Robin's Nests

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2009
I fell in love with how these cookies looked, but wasn't sure I was really going to like the taste. I made a batch and they taste as AWESOME as they look. I had to add extra powdered sugar to the fondant eggs because they were too sticky, but it didn't effect the taste. I love these so much.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
I'm really particular about my sugar cookies, and I thought I'd give this one a go. I couldn't be happier. I haven't had to change the recipe. I do make sure I chill the dough for at least an hour. I do not recommend overnight, because it will get very stiff. I have tried not chilling the dough and it was too sticky. As many times as I have made this, I have found that 1 hour yields the best results. Now, I make them at least once a month, and have people BEGGING for my sugar cookie recipe. I'll never tell!! *wink*

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
I have never EVER liked french toast. You couldn't get me to eat it if I was starving on a deserted island. Soggy Bread? Who would want to eat that?? But one day, my son woke up asking for French Toast, and I thought, "eh, why not. I don't have to eat it" and I found this recipe. It had me at hello. Seriously, this recipe has made me sing the praises of French Toast to anyone who will listen and has become a weekend staple. French Toast Saturday!!! Shh...the secret is in the flour.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
Having tasted pancakes from all over, homemade, store bought, restaurant made...nothing ever topped my dad's homemade pancakes until this recipe. I love it. Best recipe ever. It has spoiled me.
