They were just okay. I thought they were too much of a hastle for the final product, but the PB cup idea is a keeper :)

Peach-a-Berry Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2009
This pie was so good! Changes: I substituted 1/4 c. of the 3/4 c. sugar with brown sugar, added 1/2 c. rasins, and used my own crumb topping (1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. flour, cinnamon, and 1/4 c. butter) This also was a very simple recipes, no tedious tasks!

Blueberry Buckle

This tastes like a blueberry muffin, an amazing blueberry muffin! I baked mine in a pie pan only because it was convienant and it cooked through well. I used frozen blueberries and bread flour (only bc I was out of all purpose) YUM. will make again! Note: it took about 40 min to bake at 350

Creamy Caramel Flan

Reviewed: May 27, 2009
This recipe only gets four starts from me only because of the process by which it bakes(in a roasting pan of boiling water) Otherwise it was great! I made this for a spanish class and it went over very well. It is more like a cheesecake than a flan I feel. It has a texture more suiting for most palettes. I followed the directions to a tee and it came out very well. Note: be sure you move very quickly while coating the bottom and sides of the pan with sugar.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
Holy Cow! Amazing is the only word to describe these muffins. I cut the sugar by a half cup, added a dash of cinnamon, a sqeeze of honey, and a tbsp. of vanilla extract. Other than that I did'nt change a thing! After making those adjustments I tripple the recipe(only the muffin mix, the struesal topping makes plenty) and it made 22 muffins.(using a reg. muffin pan) Note: I also used frozen blueberries. :) :) This will be used many, many times in the future.

English Toffee

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
Everyone raved about this recipe. They could'nt believe it was homemade! I cut the sugar to 1 cup though and it turned out great. I used a candy thermometer and waited until it boiled down and thickened.Iit is vital to let it reach 300 F and to not let it exceed 320 F. Hope it is helpful. Also, once you put the chocolate down, wait a minute until it is softened before spreading.

Big-Batch Butterscotch Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
This was a great recipe! I cut the recipe in half since I was making several different varieties and it made about 40 cookies. I don' know how "butterscotch" these would be without the 2 cups of butterscotch chips I added. Great recipe, everyone loved them!
