Taco Seasoning

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2009
I used more cayenne pepper than called for just because I am a heat freak! I can safely say I will never buy another "packet" at the grocery store again. I used it with a pound and a half of ground chicken breast and added about a half cup of water and simmered it til the water was absorbed. This recipe is definately a keeper!

My Favorite Pork Turkey Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jun. 5, 2009
Very good recipe.I was a little skeptical at first glance, but went for it anyway.I am really glad I did.I made it exactly as the recipe is written except for the wheat germ.I didn't have any and didn't feel like going to the store. It was a very tasty and healthier alternative to traditional beef meatloaf.I will make this again only I will use a little more onion and garlic. The honey and ketchup topping is excellent. This meatloaf is a winner!

It definately lacked flavor. It needs tweaking.

Buffalo Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
Thanks for a great recipe Lisa! I found it to be very tasty. It did not remind me of buffalo chicken however.I didn't use Frank's wing sauce but a much hotter type instead. What can I say I love heat!! I believe that ones choice of sauce will change the whole dynamic of the outcome. Also, as I do anytime I make chili, I made it a day ahead of time so that the flavors would have overnight to meld. I will certainly make this again and experiment with different hot sauces.

Jammin' Tarheel Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
This is AWESOME!!!I made it exactly the way the recipe is written but left out the mushrooms.AS far as the beer goes I used Newcastle. This chili had the right amount of heat for my taste but If you don't like a lot of heat I would cut back on the cayenne pepper a little bit.I will definately be making this again.
