used an italian cheese blend mix had some herbs in it already, and as one reviewer suggested, 3/4 c sour cream and 1/4 cup of butter. these were a huge hit in my home! next time i will use the chedder cheese.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

my boyfriend, a cook, said he has made many a turkey in his day working for hotels and such, and says this is the best turkey he has ever had. i did use a brine. he has never told me to save a recipe before but he said to make sure i write down what ever i did so we can do it again. very juicy and flavorful!

Quick Yeast Rolls

i tripled the recipe and then used my bread machine for the mixing and proofing. not a good idea. waisted a lot of yeast this way just to have to make a different batch

added the cinn and brown sugar. next time will just add the brown sugar to see what it tastes like. also fluffed the egg whites and added them last. great recipe! will use again and again

didnt have fudge so i used nutella as suggested by a reviewer. i think it would have been better with the fudge. it is still good but not exactly what i was looking for.

No Bake Cookies I

very tasty, kid approved, fun to make. we made our own dough and didnt bother flatening the dough to 6 inches. we just laid the dough circles in the muffin pan then pressed the sides up they came out very good and easy to make. next time we will try a breakfast ugly as another review suggested!

Chicken Pot Pie IX

i think this is a great recipe although i messed up and doubled the sauce and everything in it. double the sauce but not the celery seed, salt and pepper. the celery seed is just to strong. it made enough for a deep dish and i also had extra so i popped it in the freezer. i also used carrots, potatoes, and celery. i cannot stand peas.

Pecan Sandies

better than store bought! they turned out so delicious! i did use 2 tsp of vanillia, 1/2 c of white sugar and 1/2 c of brown, salted butter, 1 1/2 tsp of butter. Also, i did not have any cream of tarter so i did not use that or the baking soda. instead I used 6 tsp of baking powder and they turned out so much better than expected!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

this is a great recipe! i have made this 2 times now and have not had one complaint. i did alter it alittle though. first of all, i have cut the recipe in half. also i cut the cinnamon into 1/4 of what the recipe calls for and then i add alittle less than 1/8 of ground cloves and alittle less than 1/8 nutmeg. this really makes the bread just how my grandmother's bread was.

although mine did not turn out like the ever so popular K.K., they were still pretty good and a big hit. i may have botched it up alittle while prepping the dough... i will see ow they turn out next time!

Chuck's Favorite Mac and Cheese

i really enjoyed this dish and others said it was pretty good. we did this for easter so i was too busy to get a picture(which i try to do with every dish from this site). the only riff i had about this dish was the fact that it didnt mix as well as i wanted it to while baking. next time i think i will bake with out the topping for most of the time and stir as it bakes then add the topping at the end in just enough time for it to get crispy!!!

Cheddar Baked Chicken

this will replace my fried chicken! full of flavor and jucie! thanks for the recipe!!! although i didnt use the traditional cheddar, i used an italian blend of mozzarella, provolone, romano, asiago, and parmesan cheeses and omitted the cereal and butter. i did use cooking spray on the cookie pan i baked the chicken in. next time i will use the cooking spray and top the chicken with melted butter as the recipe called for. the hubby said it was one of the best chicken he has had at home! thanks again!
