Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2011
We LOVED these with the brown sugar and butter or just plain. We added just a little more sugar (I like my pancakes a little sweet) and used fresh blueberries. DEFINITELY will make again :D Thanks!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2011
used whipping cream instead of milk because it was what I had on hand and it worked out great! We also used fresh garlic instead of the garlic powder and just browned it in the butter. DELICIOUS! Quick and easy. Who could ask for more?!

Spicy Slow Cooker Black Bean Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2011
We LOVED this recipe, but we did make a few alterations because of our personal preferences. We love how spicy this recipe is and we even added a little bit more hot pepper sauce. We also sauteed and added an onion to the slow cooker and stirred in fresh cilantro before serving. Served with croutons. Yum!

Mom's Buttermilk Pancakes

These were so great and easy. I followed the recipe exactly and my boyfriend loved them! You may want to double the batch if you have some hungry company or more than a couple people to feed though!

Sesame Green Beans

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
so good and so simple! My boyfriend and I make this a lot-when he makes it, he usually adds garlic. Personally, I don't think the recipe needs it!

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
This was my first time eating butternut squash soup (and I think butternut squash in general) and I found out it just wasn't for me! Too sweet or something I think. However, my boyfriend gives this recipe 5 stars and ate his portion as well as the rest of mine :)

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
My entire family and my boyfriend all LOVED this dish-which is really impressive since I come from a family of picky eaters who all have different food preferences. We made it with bow tie pasta because it was what we had on hand. My boyfriend and I made it again but with spaghetti squash-just as delicious and at least twice as healthy! He and I love a lot of spice so we added a bit more hot pepper sauce and some red pepper flakes. Delicious!

My Crab Cakes

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
These were really good-my boyfriend LOVED them :) I made a few changes based on what I had on hand and a few personal preferences. I added more green onions than were called for, just because we love them so much, and fried them in butter instead of the oil. I also used dejion mustard instead of dry mustard and chili powder and paprika (I didn't have cayenne pepper or dry mustard). I also put some of the spices included in the recipe in the bread crumbs as well. Delicious!

Florida Strawberry Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2010
These muffins were AWESOME! Great way to use up strawberries and they have a WONDERFUL strawberry flavor. I added more strawberries than was called for just because I needed to use them all up and I think I wound up with about a 1/2 cup strawberry juice. Also, I think I might not have cut my strawberries small enough (or maybe I didn't cook my muffins long enough) as there was still a little dough around the bits of strawberry. I can't wait to experiment with this recipe some-I think next time I might brown the butter and use brown sugar and cinnamon

This is delicious! We didn't use the olive oil and used non-baby bok choy and it turned out perfect! My boyfriend put cheese on his too
