Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
This is the only pizza crust recipe that I use now. I used to use a bread machine recipe, but then I found this and will never use another recipe. The only suggestion I have, is to pre-bake the crust, that way it gets nice and crispy.

Chewy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2011
LOVED these cookies! They don't have tons of flavor, but that is almost the perfect dessert, light and mild flavored. Made these for my fiance and roommate and they both raved about them! The only thing I did was add an extra teaspoon of vanilla and an extra half cup of flour. They really are a great cookie and is a recipe I will be keeping and making for a while!

Tacos in Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2011
I am so glad I found this recipe, my mom used to make these all the time. Once I moved out I missed having them, but now I can make them myself! I did make some modifications to it and added an extra ounce of cream cheese to the meat. I also only had enough meat mixture to make ten shells. I would double the meat mixture next time to fill 18-20 shells. Overall, past those couple modifications, it is a great recipe and I will be making it again!

Golden Rum Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2011
Very moist, very rich flavor. We loved it! I did not have plain vanilla pudding mix, so I used french vanilla pudding mix and it still tasted wonderful. You really can't go wrong with this recipe!

Stuffed Pork Chops with Cranberries

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2011
Very time consuming recipe, but well worth it! I also only made two pork chops, but that worked out nicely because we enjoyed having more of the cranberry filling to put on top of the chops. I made the sauce but we really didn't use it, the next time I make these, which I will be for sure, I will not be making the sauce. It came out runny for me and did not add tons of flavor, so I will just leave it out next time. Overall, awesome recipe! I will definitely be making it again!

Cream Cheese Pickles

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2011
These were extremely tasty, and so easy to make! I made them for a work event and they were gone very fast. One thing I do recommend is to spread the cream cheese on the ham, which should be patted dry as well as the pickles. Other than that, awesome recipe!

Peppermint Patties

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2010
The only reason I gave it four stars was because the mint was very sweet. The second batch I made I cut the powdered sugar back to 3 cups and it was perfect. Otherwise, great recipe, it reminded me of the York peppermint patties!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2010
I followed this recipe exactly and it turned out wonderful! Me and my fiance both loved them, perfect combination of dough, chocolate and nuts. Not to mention they are very soft. Only thing I had to do differently was bake them for 12 minutes instead of 10 minutes, otherwise, amazing!

Tropical Strawberry

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2010
Very refreshing summer smoothie! I did add a bit more pineapple and strawberries because you couldn't taste much of that in it at first.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2010
Takes a lot of time to prepare, but it is worth it. I cut down on the salt that I put in it though because with all the cheese it is plenty salty the way it is. I like a little bit of extra meat as well, so I put in one pound of ground beef instead of three fourths of a pound. Overall, the best lasagna I have ever made before!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Some of the best pancakes I have ever made, or tasted for that matter! Not a single thing I would change about them, except for maybe doubling the recipe so I have leftovers I can heat up on a whim.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2009
This is the most amazing tasting cinnamon roll I have ever tasted! The only thing I would change next time is to flip the rolls out onto a cookie sheet and skip the salt in the frosting. Otherwise, an outstanding recipe! It was added to my recipe book!

Oregano Chicken

I loved this chicken recipe! So many times chicken comes out dry and bland, but this had tons of flavor to it and was very moist! I wouldn't change a single thing in the recipe! Awesome!

It was an awesome carrot cake recipe! I didn't put the nuts in it because I don't like nuts, but even without those, it tasted amazing! Thanks so much for this recipe, I will be using it in the future for sure!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2009
These muffins were by far some of the best I have ever tasted! I had to use half all purpose flour and half bread flour because I didn't have enough all purpose, and they still turned out great! As others have suggested, I would only fill them about 2/3 or 3/4 full as they overflowed big time.
