Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
Good recipe. I used ground turkey and red peppers in place of the ground beef and green peppers. I also sliced my peppers length ways and put a hole in the bottom to keep them from getting too soggy. I use chopped fresh garlic cloves and chopped green onions in place of the powders.

Cod Fish Cakes

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
This was a good base recipe for me. I add garlid, Thyme, and double the parsley, I omit the egg and butter because they are moist enough without the egg and I substitute the butter with Simply Best for a healthier take.

Garlic Caesar Chicken Tenders

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2010
We really liked this. I used italian bread crumbs after reading the other reviews and I think it gave a better flavor over all. My family loves garlic so we used 1/2 again the amount called for. We have placed it on salad, along side a pasta and sauce side as well as with mashed potatoes and gravy. They all seem to work well with the flavors. I know we will make this again.

Leftover Pot Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
The family loves this. One time I substituted cooked diced potatoes and corn for the veggies just because that was the request from the family. I also made it with peas and carrots and corn also a hit. Thank you for this effortless and tasty recipe.

Dinah's Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
This was very good and easy to fix. I took the advice of others and precooked my mushrooms in the oven for a few minutes while I put the stuffing together. I also chopped and added the stems to the stuffing. We don't use butter so I substituted Simply Best and worked out beautifully. We didn't use as much "butter" as the recipe called for as we felt that was too much for us. I also used red peppers in place of green. I don't happen to care for the green ones much. I also liked it with crab meat it gave it a nice flavor as well. Thank you

Grandma's Easy Turkey Taco Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2010
This was very easy. We loved the flavors. I made it exactly as described. I think I will add a little garlic and onion to the meat next time. It made quite a bit so we added the lettuce and chips on a serving basis. We don't like soggy chips so this was a good solution for us. Waiting also afforded us the ability to heat it up right before serving the leftovers. We will be making this again. It was also very economical. Thank you.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
My family loves the Tilapia prepared this way. Very tender and full of flavor with out overwhelming the fish. I use my toaster over to make these saves money on heating a conventional oven. I did substitute Simply Best butter substitute for the butter and the family cannot even tell. Thank you for the recipe. I plan on making it many times over.

Italian Sausage Delight!

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
I loved this recipe. Very easy and tasty. I did make a few changes. I added more italian dressing, red and yellow peppers and fresh mushrooms in place of the canned. I also cooked the sausages all day in the slow cooker with chicken broth. they were very tender and flavorful. The skin was not even an issue. Thank you for the recipe I will use it again my family loved it.
