This was a great, fast and simple recipe. Thank you for sharing it. I altered it a little to suit my family. We don't use lard, shortening, or margarine, so I substituted 1/2 C Butter instead. I also used 3C white whole wheat flour, 1C All purpose flour, and added the water a little at a time. I'm glad I did because I ended up using almost 1/4c less water than called for. I live in a very humid climate so that might account for it. I should have rolled them out a little thinner but they came out soft and had a much nicer flavor than store bought. I think this is a new family favorite!
