Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2009
I agree with the description! They are perfection if you want a big, fat, chewy cookie!Tastes BETTER than at the bakeries! I did not have enough regular choc.chips so I threw in some mini choc. chips, some bittersweet chips with what I had of the regular semi-sweet choc. chips and some pecans and instead of one egg and one egg yolk I just put two eggs in and talk about CHOCOLATE CHIP! The cookie handled all of it and was outstanding!

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2009
I doubled this recipe to make an apple pie. I made sure not to overwork it to keep it from being tough. It was so fluffy and flaky! It is a wonderful recipe. I basted the top with milk and sprinkled sugar and it just came out perfect! Thank you for the recipe.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: May 30, 2009
I made this using half brown sugar with the white sugar like some of the reviews said. My husband ate 4 big pieces when it was done. They were awesome. I think the box brownies have a funny taste to them so I have always looked for a homemade recipe for brownies and this is it.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2009
The name of this recipe is perfect! They are absolutely the BEST! So moist! I added mini chocolate chips and I omitted the frosting and they were awesome. They reminded me of the brownies that Applebees used to have on their menu. They were all gone in a day!

Simple Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
I make 2 loaves with same recipe and I changed the recipe a little to add items that we like in our bread. I used 4 cups flour, 1 cup oats, 3-4 cups whole wheat flour or whatever to get to correct consistency and 1/2 cup ground flax seed. This bread is absolutely marvelous. I have made alot of bread over the years yet this recipe is the best ever. Moist, slightly sweet and tender. I am now making this regularly to replace store bought.

I changed the recipe slightly for our taste. I used 2 cups flour and 1 cup oats. My husband said they are so good I need to sell the mixture in stores. Of course I won't, but they are awesome cookies!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2013
I added 1 can of puree and a half tsp of italian seasoning. Used ground hamb instead of meatballs and added fried whole italian sausages. Everyone couldn't stop eating it while it cooked on the stove. This is real italian sauce.
