Slow Cooker Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2012
The skins are a little soggy but the flavor and consistency are perfect.

Cake Mix Cookies VI

Reviewed: May 29, 2012
Good soft cake-y cookies. Next time I'll store them with wax paper between.

Garlic Bubble Loaf

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
Made with refrigerated biscuit dough, the bread turned out wonderfully. My boyfriend and I ate until we couldn't eat anymore, and then finished the loaf.

Parsley Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
Easy and delicious! I made this recipe for a small dinner party and everyone loved the potatoes! They can easily be mashed to make chunky mashed potatoes, something I'll try next time.

Mozzarella Wedges

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
Delicious and easy! Great side with almost anything and much more impressive than the simple crescent rolls. I make the dough into rectangles and slice finger sized pieces for more portions and parties!

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2010
Perfect! I made it on a large cookie sheet and it was beautiful! Good soft texture. Instead of icing (who needs more sugar?) I used chocolate chips turned upside down pressed into the cookie immediately after it came out of the oven to decorate. Everyone was thrilled and the leftovers are great!

Almond-Crusted Tilapia

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2010
I used this recipe but instead of frying, I baked the fish for 30 minutes at 350 degrees at the suggestion of another reviewer. The fish was a little overdone, next time I would cook it for a shorter time. The flavor was perfect and the crunchy breading made the overcooked fish not matter. Will be made again and again.

Parmesan Puffs

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2010
I am a Parmesan fiend but these puffs just didn't do it for me. I added garlic powder and used marinara sauce for dipping but they were pretty bland. I think blending in other cheeses or ingredients might help but they don't really stand alone well.

Toffee Crunch Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2010
Fantastic! The cookies didn't spread horribly, were soft yet crisp and the toffee bits gave them a little extra sweetness without overpowering anything. I will be making these again and again. Made 24 2" cookies.

Pizza Moons

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2010
I make these for parties. If I'm making it more casual I'll cut the finished ones in half and have toothpicks and sauce to dip. This also helps people tell if they're getting a pepperoni or cheese one. Delicious!

Yummy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2010
The flavor is great, very very buttery. My problem with this recipe is that they were way too thin and crispy. Even when I under baked them, they ended up flattening out while cooling on the rack. Storing them was worse, all the cookies stuck together.

I have always had problems making buttercream icing from scratch but this recipe turned out nicely even for me!

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
This recipe makes great cupcakes! Its my new go-to cupcake recipe. I don't change it one bit and the cakes always turn out light and perfectly flavored. I like a simple white frosting on them but recently tried a chocolate frosting and it was pretty good.

Chocolate Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2009
With a little tweaking (1tsp baking soda, instead of 3) these turned out beautifully. I love how melty the chocolate gets when you heat them up in the microwave just before eating.

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2009
These were easy and wonderful. I only give four stars because they spread like crazy on me. While not as pretty, they turned out crisp and delicious. I frosted some with a plain white frosting but I think they do well on their own.

This is a great way to make french toast for a group. The crispy sugary surface was just delightful.
