Amish Slaw

Reviewed: May 7, 2010
So good and exactly what I was looking for. I had some coleslaw from an Amish community once and thought it to be the best coleslaw I have ever had! This is definitely a keeper. I used a bag of slaw, but didn't find straining the slaw to be too bothersome. Thanks!

Yum! And so easy.. there isn't anything in this recipe that I don't always have on hand so I won't be needing to buy pancake mix anymore! Thanks!

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2010
This was great! It reminded me a lot of clam chowder, which is one of my favorites. I followed the recipe exactly, except I could not find the quick cooking rice, so made it seperately and then added it. Thanks so much. I will certainly be making this again, not to mention eating left overs for a couple days!

Slow-Cooker Chicken Tortilla Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
Super easy, super tasty! I also used frozen chicken breasts and added some black beans. I realized I ran out of cumin so I used some taco seasoning. We topped it with cheese, sour cream and corn chips. I am looking forward to leftovers tomorrow. Thanks!

Buckeyes I

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
Yum! I think if you don't use all the powdered sugar you will certainly have a messier time rolling the dough. I used the stated amount and had zero problems. I do however think that less sugar and more peanut butter would probably taste better and more like a peanut butter cup, but would undoubtedly be very messy! Thanks a ton! I only made half the batch and froze the other half of the dough for closer to xmas baking and making!

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
This was super easy and quite good! My husband really loved the cheese surprise! It was a really attractive looking meatloaf as well. I had no problems rolling it. It even took just a matter of seconds. My hamburger was a little cold still so perhaps that helped? Thanks for a great and easy recipe!

Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II

Reviewed: Nov. 30, 2009
I was pretty unsure when I started this that it would taste good, but it did and it couldn't have been easier. I actually used left over turkey from Thanksgiving and it was a great way to help use it up! Thanks!

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
What great tasting and beautiful cookies! I ended up using the whole brick of cream cheese as some suggested and followed up with the added remaining ingredients. These baked flawlessly! I've never made such a perfect looking sugar cookie! Thanks!

This was great! Exactly how you would want it to taste! We ate it two nights in a row even, we couldn't get enough and it was even better the 2nd night! We topped it with fritos, sour cream and cheese! Yum! Thanks!

Scott Hibb's Amazing Whisky Grilled Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
I over reduced the sauce on accident and it turned into a bit of a paste. The flavor was still nice, but I would like to have a redo! I loved the cooking method for the ribs though, as they were very tender. I will certainly cook ribs like this again, even if I don't redo the sauce! Thanks!

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

Not exactly what I expected. I guess it was a little bland. I may try a little spice with it next time. I am not even a spicey loving person, but it just lacked something in my opinion. Great base though, thanks!

Holiday Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2009
This recipe is full of win! I really didn't need a new chicken salad recipe, as I truly loved my go to, but this is my new favorite! I shredded the chicken as it makes it easier to scoop onto pita chips and added a tad bit more onion, as I love onion. So good! Thanks!

Chicken Fried Chicken

This is a very tasty recipe. I did add the suggested seasonings and dipped flour first, but still had a problem with the breading coming off. I wouldn't compare it to fried chicken, but is definitely a keeper! Thanks!

Cheesy Ranch Potato Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2009
Very tasty recipe. I reduced the butter to 2 tbl and this was still way too much, so I would definitely omit it all together. I also added real bacon bits. Would be great with sour cream or zesty ranch! Thanks!
