Bourbon Pecan Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2012
Very good. I did follow the advice of others and brown it on the stove top and finish it off in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30 mins. I scored the meat with a knife before I breaded it and it seemed to help it stick a little better. I will be making this again. The sauce would be good on steak!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2011
This will be my go-to recipes for lasagna now! My EXTREMELY picky 5 year old (who refuses to eat anything with sauce at all) loved it! I wasn't paying attention and used 1/2 TBS spoon to measure my basil and fennel but it was still great! I also didn't have TOMATO SAUCE or I drained a can of DICED tomato and pureed it. It worked great

Southern Pulled Pork

Reviewed: May 1, 2011
It was perfect for what we wanted it. I used it to make pulled pork tacos. Inspired by tacos I had at a little hole in the wall place, I topped them with pico de gallo, cheese and remoulade (sp?) sauce. leftovers we used for sandwiches, and made a quesadilla with a little bbq sauce and cheese and dipped in salsa Verde. They were all very tasty!

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2010
This was so good! I doubled the rub recipe (I used a 2lb pork loin) I just love what the sage adds to this. I followed the recipe as it's told and my picky 4 year old who refuses to eat anything with "sauce" ate his entire plate while telling me how good dinner was. The sauce was the perfect touch. I was a bit hesitant to add the glaze but it was fantastic.

Yogurt Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2010
I haven't tasted the finished product just yet. But I feel like it's a 5 star already! I didn't have plain yogurt so I used vanilla lowfar yogurt. Followed the recipe otherwise. I can't stop eating the dough as I get in on the sheets and wait for it to finish in the oven I peeked in at them and they look nice and thick. Not flattened out at all!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2010
Very Good! I added about 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract. I ended up making one batch and then made a second! My picky 19 year old brother-in-law ate 6 on top of the rest of his breakfast! Maybe next time I will toss a few blueberries in the mix

Fudge

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2010
Very good! I had a package of peanut butter/chocolate chips that I used and then added a half package of semi sweet chocolate chips. I'm used to making it on the stove with lots more ingredients and a candy thermometer. Its a nice quick way if you need a fudge fix!

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
Amazing! I don't normally eat grilled burgers at home mainly for lack of knowing how to create a juicy, great tasting one. I gave this a whirl and WOW! My husband and I put a little Sweet&Hot Mustard on our buns and really enjoyed it. I've been asked to make them for a family cookout already! We follow the recipe as it says and never have a problem with the burgers falling apart and the bacon cooks fine. Just make sure they are packed well and it will be fine.
