Banana Berry Smoothie II

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2010
I actually like this recipe better without the honey. I also added ice like some of the reviewers suggested and used only half a banana. Next time, I think I'll use the whole banana because I couldn't really taste the banana that much. I also used almost 1 cup of vanilla yogurt. Yummy!

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2009
My fiance said it was the best thing I have ever made! I used chili powder instead of the chili pepper flakes and a little more garlic than the recipe calls for you. It was 1 pound of salmon and I broiled it for 25 minutes. I also only had time to marinate for about 20 minutes, but it came out delicious. I put it in a glass dish and flipped it upside down so the skin was on top while I was marinating it and then flipped it over so the skin was on the bottom for the broiling.

Baked Haddock

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2009
This recipe is delicious! I am not much of a cook and this recipe is very easy and simple. Instead of all milk, I used one egg (and the rest milk). I used panko bread crumbs. I also sprayed the pan with Pam. It really helps it to not stick to the pan when it's done. I put it in the oven for exactly 15 minutes. The smell is very appetizing and the taste is light and buttery (I didn't even think those could go together!) It was so good, I made it again the next night. Definetely a keeper!

Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2009
There is no way to make a mistake with this one! Instead of a bag, I put the ingredients in a tupperware and shook it around. I did 357 degrees instead of 400 degrees for 1/2 pound of brussel sprouts, and it took 30 minutes. I did some of them whole and some split in half. I like the ones cut in half better because you get more of that nice carmelized/burnt taste. I also didn't have any kosher salt, so used sea salt which worked fine. I am not a kitchen person and these turned out great!
