My first....

I love to bake. I just do it when I get bored! I started with cakes and muffins, then moved to breads and cookies. I was recently asked to make a cookie bouquet for my niece. Her theme was elephants. About Me

I haven't been cooking or baking very long, but since I am a stay at home mom now, I find time for it. I find it calming to bake. I don't actually eat what I make....most of the time, but I do taste a bit to make sure that it's good!

My favorite things to cook
I love to try everything. But I love making cookies and baking cakes.

My favorite family cooking traditions
We have always made rolls! Sweet rolls, dinner rolls, rolls with icing, rolls in coconut milk. Love it!

My cooking triumphs
When I made my sisters wedding cake. It was my first one and I am so happy that she believed that I could!

My cooking tragedies
Trying to make a chocolate roll. And frying anything! I have a hard time, which in the long run is a good thing!
