Beer Margaritas

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2012
These are great! I cute the Tequilla in half and used Corona Extra and you couldn't even taste the alcohol. I would suggest adding just a little pinch of sugar to knock down some of the tartness of the limeade.

Boneless Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
This is a great hot wing recipe. The breading is fantastic alone. We had it on chicken tenders with homemade honey mustard dipping sauce. Flour, egg, flour, egg, flour. Yummy!

Yummy Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

This is a great recipe. Had it with homemade chicken fingers. YUMMY!!! I did add just a little bit of extra honey. Maybe a tablespoon extra.

Broccoli Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2014
Good "base" recipe I did make a few of my own additions that made this amazing!! I cut the recipe in half and had a good sized casserole. I added a minced garlic clove and 2-3 diced jalapeno slices to the celery and onion. Then a little bit of the jarred jalapeno juice to the cheese and soup mixture. Used 1/2 frozen and half fresh broccoli. I would have used all fresh but did not have enough. I also used half of the cheese it recommended. Casserole was very very good!! Will definitely make again, especially for gatherings b/c it's so easy to throw together and refrigerate until ready.

Summer Corn Salad

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
I made this with bi-color corn on the cob and was less than impressed. Maybe it would be better with sweet corn. I made this for a fish fry and ended up not even serving it.

The Best Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 31, 2011
This really is "the best" potato salad. The addition of the ranch dressing keeps it from being too mayonaisse-y or too mustard-y. Served this at a fish fry and got rave reviews.

Cola Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
They were pretty good. I used boneless chops and they were very tender. I do think that I will substitute BBQ sauce for the ketchup next time and see what that's like.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
I thought this was just okay. I might have liked it better with heath bar, snickers, butterfinger pieces. Something with a little more..."kick", instead of the chocolate chips. My co-workers enjoyed but I wasn't that impressed.

OREO® and Fudge Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
This is a great recipe! You could change the flavors and make it all your own! It is very easy to put together. I would recommend buying two tubs of whipped topping though. There was not enough to "ice" the entire cake with. Added some toffee chips on top. Will never buy another ice cream cake from the store!

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
This recipe didn't get a 5 star rating for being "okay". I was a little worried about the Italian dressing, it just didn't make sense on paper. This is AMAZING salsa. I would say you could cut the dressing in half b/c it does tend to get a little soupy. I only used about 5 rings of jalapenos. Best when refrigerated for about 6-8 hours. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2014
Used a 2.5 lb roast as suggested with the same amount of spices/other ingredients. 4 stars as is. Added a couple of sliced jalapenos from the garden after the meat was shredded and it made a HUGE difference. SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
Sauce- I was afraid this would be too "tomato-ey" with not enough spices, but it turned out good! I actually double the recipe for a family get together and did half whole tomatoes and half crushed. Next time I will do all crushed tomatoes. I was not a big fan of the large chunks of tomato. Half crushed and half diced would work well also. Either way, the flavor was good. Meatballs- GOOD! they were lacking some flavor. I added some italian seasoning, but next time I will get even more creative. Maybe some mozzarella cheese and additional spices. I used fresh bread crumbs but may also try with oatmeal. Overall it was a hit with the family and a good recipe! Will make again.

Quick and easy! This was so simple and a nice change from regular spagetti. We call it Spatini in our house since you use rotini noodles.

Breaded Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
Husband and I thought there were pretty good! However, the coating did not stick to the chicken once they were fried, but it did stay in one piece and kind of formed a "shell" around the chicken. Can't complain too much though, b/c they had good flavor! Dipped them in Yummy Honey Mustard dipping Sauce *another allrecipes recipe. Delicious! Another one for the recipe box.
