Pepperoni Stromboli

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
What a great recipe! I used it as a guideline, omitted the oregano and parm. cheese. Added garlic salt and browned hamburger. Baked for about 20 minutes then basted the top with butter as others had recommended and sprinkled some shredded cheese and a little more garlic salt on top, EXCELLENT. Will absolutely be making this again!

Faye's Pulled Barbecue Pork

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2009
Great recipe and very easy! I made this in the crock pot. I halved the recipe, then rubbed the meat with the spices, let it cook for about 6-7 hours in the crock pot. Then discarded the juice and shredded the pork. Added a bottle of sweet smokey KC BBQ sauce and let it simmer in the crock pot for about an hour more. WOW! This was ten times better than I expected! 3 lbs of pork made enough for two to eat on for 3 days. Definately a recipe I will add to my recipe box!

Chipotle Crusted Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2009
This was just okay to me. Winter time, so I baked it. Mixed the spices (only used 1 TBSP of chili poweder on 2 lbs meat and that was enough!), and rubbed on meat. Wrapped in Saran wrap and put in fridge for about 3 hours. I don't know that I will be making this again. I didn't think it was spectacular.

Mouth-Watering Stuffed Mushrooms

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2009
I have been making this recipe for a little over a year now and it's WONDERFUL!!!! Have not had any complaints! I wouldn't change a thing to the recipes. The cayenne gives it just a little kick. Filling is creamy. PERFECT!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
I was really look forward to trying this recipe and the results were extremely disappointing. I omitted the onion and used chicken broth instead of the water. Maybe it was the butter taste that I didn't like. I could never get my "dumplings" to cook all the way through. I cut my biscuits and smashed thin, but after two hours on high, they were still not done. I finally gave up. I did taste the chicken and soup, and was not impressed at all.

Meat Loaf Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2009
I love the concept of this recipe, but it needs some tweeking. I did not make mine in a pie crust, but used a pie plate and just greased it. The meatloaf section of the pie was pretty much just browned burger. Next time I will make meatloaf like i normally do, with saltines, etc. and layer it b/w the corn and potatoes/cheese.

Firecracker Fried Chicken Drumsticks

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2009
Loved this chicken! A change from regular fried chicken. Followed directions exactly. Only used 4 drumsticks as there are just two of us, and the only other ingredient that I halved was the hot sauce. I allowed the chicken to marinate for only one hour as my BF does not like spicey food. Just a hit of sauce. We decided next time to marinate for 2-3 hours. You could taste the sauce, but not the heat. Had no problems with the breading falling off. Just allow the side to get crispy before turning and keep oil hot. Copied this recipe and put in my recipe box immediately after super!!

Oatmeal Cake III

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
If I could give this recipe 20 stars I would! It is absolutely amazing! It's moist and the glaze is perfect! So easy to make. I broiled mine on high for the full 3 minutes and it came out great. If you haven't tried this recipe, it is a must...A keeper for sure!

Cha Cha's White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2009
Very good chili. I followed the recipe exactly except for the jalapenos. I used half the recommended amount. It had enough heat to open your sinuses but not enough to be over powering. I combined ingredients as recommended then put them in the crock pot. I highly recommend a dallop of sour cream in your bowl!

Spicy Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2010
This recipe didn't get a 5 star rating for being "okay". I was a little worried about the Italian dressing, it just didn't make sense on paper. This is AMAZING salsa. I would say you could cut the dressing in half b/c it does tend to get a little soupy. I only used about 5 rings of jalapenos. Best when refrigerated for about 6-8 hours. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Strawberry Dream Cake I

Reviewed: May 26, 2010
I don't really care much for strawberry cake, but made this for a baby shower at work. It was awesome! Everyone, including me, loved it! It was even better the next day after sitting in the refrigerator. I did follow the advice of other reviewers and used strawberry cream cheese in the cake. SO yummy! This is definitely going in my recipe box.

OREO® and Fudge Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2010
This is a great recipe! You could change the flavors and make it all your own! It is very easy to put together. I would recommend buying two tubs of whipped topping though. There was not enough to "ice" the entire cake with. Added some toffee chips on top. Will never buy another ice cream cake from the store!

Yummy Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce

This is a great recipe. Had it with homemade chicken fingers. YUMMY!!! I did add just a little bit of extra honey. Maybe a tablespoon extra.

Breaded Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
Husband and I thought there were pretty good! However, the coating did not stick to the chicken once they were fried, but it did stay in one piece and kind of formed a "shell" around the chicken. Can't complain too much though, b/c they had good flavor! Dipped them in Yummy Honey Mustard dipping Sauce *another allrecipes recipe. Delicious! Another one for the recipe box.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
I thought this was just okay. I might have liked it better with heath bar, snickers, butterfinger pieces. Something with a little more..."kick", instead of the chocolate chips. My co-workers enjoyed but I wasn't that impressed.

Quick and easy! This was so simple and a nice change from regular spagetti. We call it Spatini in our house since you use rotini noodles.

Cola Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
They were pretty good. I used boneless chops and they were very tender. I do think that I will substitute BBQ sauce for the ketchup next time and see what that's like.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
Sauce- I was afraid this would be too "tomato-ey" with not enough spices, but it turned out good! I actually double the recipe for a family get together and did half whole tomatoes and half crushed. Next time I will do all crushed tomatoes. I was not a big fan of the large chunks of tomato. Half crushed and half diced would work well also. Either way, the flavor was good. Meatballs- GOOD! they were lacking some flavor. I added some italian seasoning, but next time I will get even more creative. Maybe some mozzarella cheese and additional spices. I used fresh bread crumbs but may also try with oatmeal. Overall it was a hit with the family and a good recipe! Will make again.
