Spinach Pomegranate Salad

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
Easy, pretty to look at and delicious! I loved the crunchy texture the walnuts and pomegranate seeds added. Next time I think I would divide all the toppings into two halves so that I could toss a bit of it all together and then top artfully with the rest. This recipe's a keeper!

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
This was very delicious! I used chicken because it was all I had around and I wasn't disappointed - made a great lunch - will definitely make again!

Weekend Brunch Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I have made this so many times now - it never fails to disappoint! I like to pre-bake the crescent roll crust for about 5-7 minutes. Excellent!

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
I covered the baking dish in foil and I think that was my mistake because along with all the butter in the pan the cracker crumbs didn't keep their crispness. I'd like to try this again sometime and see where I messed up because I like the idea of this recipe, but when I tried it, it was a complete failure!

Chocolate Earl Grey Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
These were nice! Had a different taste than the cookies I normally have around since they're more spicy than sweet and sugary tasting. I'd probably make these again, just to change things up from what I normally bake.

Caramel Shortbread Squares

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
Really good! Next time I'll do what other reviewers had suggested and spread the shortbread mixture in a 9'' by 13'' pan and double the caramel/chocolate.

Sausage Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
This made a pretty good soup base, I just didn't like the sausage in it. I don't think I will make this again.

Frosted Cranberries

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
These were beautiful! I ended up having to use a lot more sugar because it all kept getting soaked by the egg whites and then didn't work. Next time I'll remember to drain the cranberries instead of taking them directly from the bowl with the egg whites

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2009
Delicious! I used a bag of store-bought taco seasoning and it was very flavorful and just the right amount of spice. This was so quick and easy to make, next time I'll just throw it in the crockpot before work - great!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2009
This soup has the nicest flavor! So delicious, I was surprised how wonderful the broth tasted since there wasn't any special spices or anything unusual in it. It was excellent! I added 1/4 C. shredded cheddar cheese and cooked it with a bay leaf, yummy. Will definitely make again!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
These really are the perfect chocolate chip cookie. At first I thought 1/4 C. was too much dough for each cookie, but they came out perfectly. Only problem I had was my slight tendency to overbake - I took my second pan out of the oven at 15 mins exactly and they came out perfectly!

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2009
This was amazing! I cut the recipe in half to make just one pie but other than that followed the recipe exactly and it came out perfectly! I was surprised by how strong the peanut butter taste really was even though there was only 1/2 a cup of it in the pie. I melted some chocolate and drizzled it on top as a garnish along with some oreo cookie crumbs as I didn't have any reese's peanut butter cups to chop and put on top like I'd wanted to. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Awesome Ham Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
This was amazing! The sauce for it was perfect. I used cavatappi pasta, as someone else suggested, and it was just perfect for this recipe, made the salad look realy nice! I also laid the pasta out to dry off for a few minutes after boiling so that the sauce wouldn't get watery and the pasta mushy later on. I omitted the tomatoes and added cubed sharp cheddar cheese, sliced black olives and broccoli florettes. This one is definitely a keeper!
