Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Was a bit thick- will try adding a bit of chicken broth next time. Added peas and carrots for veg. Added oregano. basil and pepper. Definately only 1 can biscuits.

Amazing Italian Lemon Butter Chicken

Love this! Just add peas. Omitted the capers. Diced the chicken from the start. Shook the pieces in a plastic bag to coat with flour- easy! Will HAVE to have again!

Chicken Stew with Dumplings

Only use 1 container biscuits! Used 1 can crm.chick. & 1 can crm. mush. soup. Added peas and carrots. Added oregano, basil, pepper. Still could've used more spices. Was a bit thick. Will try adding more liquid next time:0

Newfie Goulash

Added 1 can drained diced tomatoes. Added spices- basil, oregano, garlic. Needs a bit more sauce- maybe 1 can tomato sauce. Only need to sprinkle cheese on top at the end.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

This was absolutely fabulous!!! Everyone in my family of 7 loved it, from 45yr's to 5 yr's. Will positively make again, and lots more of it! Served over mashed potatoes:) Like a salisbury steak!

Chicken Puffs

THese were ok. Very cream cheesy. The croissants made it sweet. I added basil and pepper for spice, and carrot and celery for veg. Maybe I'd try again with cream of chick. soup instead of cream cheese & butter, and biscuit instead of croissant?

Baked Chicken and Stuffing

Good comfort food. Added 1 chopped eggplant in lieu of extra chick (made recipie for 10), added 2 cans drained french green beans. Still a bit bland. Try more seasoning...garlic, pepper?

Midori Glow

LOVE THIS! This has been a summer staple for me for 20 years! Usually its just the midori- but when we add rum its coconut- absolutely fabulous1 Garnish with a sprig of mint. Dressed up or down its the perfect summer cocktail:)

Creamy Rice Pudding

I made it - salt & raisins/ and substituted 1/2 & 1/2 for part of the milk. Very creamy and thick. Watch the timing for the milk/1/2 & 1/2 or its too soupy, at least for my taste. Great flavour.

Sturdy Whipped Cream Frosting

PHENOMINAL!!! Absolutely loved this- and couldn't be easierr to make! We added a couple tablespoons powdered sugar just to "stiffen" it up a bit. This is a keeper:)

Scrumptious Strawberry Shortcake

I did as most others and omitted the cream/tartar, and reduced baking soda to 3. Added vanilla for flavor and brushed top w/butter. Is very dry, crumbly- definately more like a shortbead. Decent flavour. May try again.

Was ok. Expected it to have more tang from the bbcue, or sweet from the marmalade- but was all so well blended, kind of left you wondering what flavor you were getting.
