I was not a fan. It is very greasy and it looks curdled.

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2014
Have you ever a recipe only to realize you should have read the instructions? Then you hurry through a million reviews to see if anyone else made this mistake? Yup that's me here. I jacked up from the beginning and guess what it WAS STILL AMAZING.. I threw EVERYTHING IN THE CROCKPOT ....oil included lol ... It was a total adhd moment.. I did add the peppers an hour before.. This smells amazing while its cooking.. Great over noodles or rice.. It is simple and delicious.. You could add anything really carrots or even peanuts.. Try it wont be disappointed.

Healthy Banana Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 8, 2013
OK I read about half the reviews.. I DID change the oil to applesauce.. THESE ARE super good and easy. If you are even contemplating this recipe its cause you don't eat cookies often from a package... These are guilt free and gluten free( I used gluten free oats) Don't be scared of this recipe..sometimes too many reviews that have been changed before even made ruin it for me... These are delicious if this is your thing..

Slow Cooker Chicken Pot Pie Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2013
I didn't grab two cream of chicken at the store. I did 1 cream of chicken and one cream of mushroom.. I did 1 bouillon... ok don't judge me.. I was super afraid it would be sooo salty.. I did add one can of broth as others suggested.. my husband said not to next time. He said it would be nice thicker. I liked it with broth.. So that's not a deal breaker if you do or don't. We had this for Thanksgiving dinner. Since I am gluten free and not a turkey fan, this was a great alternative. Its simple and inexpensive. Its rich and creamy and the celery salt adds so much.

This is not only easy but delicious.. You could add a ton of variations if you wanted. I did make as is.. Pepper jack adds a little kick.. My kids tolerated the "spicy" but next time may try a different cheese.. Thank you for this easy delicious recipe!

Baked Bacon Ranch Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2013
I made as written... Bacon kept falling on when I tried to fry... Did 3 mins each side as recipe said... Skillet was hot when I put chicken in.. So my remedy was to cook bacon on the side and re wrap which worked great! I then put it in the oven 5 inches from the broiler.. Holy .... smoky... cooked chicken 6 mins... RAW... So I turned the heat down and baked for 20... Super tastey but WHAT A PAIN>>> Grease every where... Smokey house.. Probably would make again with adjustments. It smelled great the whole time tho lol

little trickier but I used coconut oil instead of olive oil. This fish was amazing! That is the only modification I made.

Tex-Mex Enchiladas

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2011
holy these are good! So easy I almost thought I was doing it wrong. I did saute the onions before putting them in(only cause raw onions are hard on my stomach) Husband loved them. They are Gluten free which is a plus in this house! Mix and match chili for different flavor. Add more filling don't that is what makes this recipe awesome. Having made a few times now we have even added spinach, different cheeses and black olives. I like them when they are at the simplest! These can be made layered and not rolled. I am telling you it is versatile and awesome!!!! Thank you for the awesome recipe!

Pesto Pasta with Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2011
This was super easy. I made AS IS.After we started eating it my husband recommended more pesto so we did 10 ounces. This recipe is simple but delicious. I did read a review that said they added Italian dressing. I did that to my plate and thought it was quite delicious. I will make this again. ( when extra grocery budget Pesto and sun dried tomatoes not terribly cheap)

Slow-Cooked Flank Steak

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
Ok I scored it based on how it was written. If I had not read to only cook the meat 3 1/2 to 4 hours I would have cooked it 8 hours on low and destroyed a perfectly good cut of meat(WHICH WAS NOT TERRIBLY INEXPENSIVE) I made as written and I have to tell you it was ok. The meat lacked flavor. Maybe if it marinated over night. This was just a hunk of meat and a little seasoning. Will I make again? Yes but needs more UMPH! I may even marinate over night then kick up some garlic cloves. It is a tasty strt to a good recipe but as written not so great!

Beaumont Ranch Potato Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
No brainer jut like everyone we loved this. I omitted pickle(DID NOT HAVE ANY) Little more green onion and real bacon(Not a fan of bacon bits.) Turned out flavorful. I think you could even add boiled eggs. I think this is one of those recipes where once you make the original you can tweek and have fun with new textures and flavors
