Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2014
The salmon came out very bland tasting. Won't be making this one again.

Waistline-Friendly Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Jul. 13, 2014
This is one of the best recipes I have found on this site. A great hearty meal that is perfect for a cold night. I followed the directions exactly and the chili comes out nice and spicy, just the way I like it. I served the chili over a baked potato and added a bit of shredded cheddar cheese. My family couldn't get enough.

Jo-Ann's Power Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
These were FIRE. Easy to make and tasted awesome. Like others, I substituted chocolate protein powder for the flour and omitted the oil and brown sugar. I added dried pineapple for the fruit and some sliced raw almonds and flaxseed. Turned out great and can make so many different variations so it will never get old

Split Pea Soup without Pork

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2009
Very Good. I added about half of a small chopped white onion, a couple tbs. minced garlic, and a tbs thyme to add more flavor. I had to let it simmer for about 2 1/2 hours to get it thick

Stuffed Peppers

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
I love this recipe, however I did make a few alterations. My family is trying to eat healthier this new year, so instead of ground beef I used ground turkey. Also instead of brown rice I decided to use whole grain rice. Finally for the tomato sauce, I used Hunt's no salt added sauce which really cuts down on the sodium content. Overall really easy to make and tastes great.
