But, it is cold. I know folks in other parts of the country are still without power. My heart goes out to them. It isn't easy to weather freezing temperatures. In other climes, gardeners build cold frames and plant in containers to move into greenhouses. With school hours, we just haven't done that. About Me
My husband and friend own a small Community Supported Agriculture business in North Florida near Tallahassee. I work as a director for a before and after school program at a charter school in Tallahassee as well. We are involved in old time music and dance communities.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook seasonally and fresh. We eat meat that is locally grown and fruits as they come in, but mostly our garden and freezer provide the majority of our food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Being together in the kitchen. It doesn't matter what we are cooking.

I won a prize at the state fair for my perserves.
