Coffeebar Chai

AMAZING! It tastes just like the chai tea latte from Starbucks. However I made some changes: firstly, I used only 3 tea bags because I didn't want it to be too strong. I also didn't put honey (never really was too fond of the taste) and put 6 teaspoons of sugar instead. I put 5 pods of cardamom (Mom is Lebanese so we had those lying around the pantry). I also didn't put the nutmeg and chopped up about a teaspoon of fresh ginger. The whole house smelled so aromatic! I still cannot get over how much it tastes like the chai tea latte from Starbucks and I will definitely make over and over again! Thanks!

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! but after you make these few adjustments: instead of using 3 cups half-and-half, i used one and a half cups half-and-half and 1 and a half cups of coconut milk. also, i used 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 cup corn starch rather than 1/2 cup flour. everything else i followed as directed. i poured my coconut custard filling into a pre-made, store bought shortbread pie shell which tasted great. and used cool whip and toasted coconut flakes on top. i'm 17 and made it for my family who would not stop talking about it. i will definitely be making this again!

the chicken mix was really delicious, but next time i'm gonna cut down on the enchilida sauce cause it was a little too heavy. great recipe though :)

it came out very delicious. the only problem was that there was way too much liquid and it didn't reduce down so i had to remove it but once that was solved my family and i enjoyed it very much =)

Ashley's Chocolate Chip Cookies

by far the best cookies i've ever made! i made 80 of them for my father's work (i'm only 16) they were so easy to make and they tasted delicious and were so soft. i added crushed up pieces of butterfingers, and toffee, and chocolate chunks instead of chips and came out wonderful. i'm going to try m&m's next time. the recipe was perfect i didn't have to alter anything. definitely will be making again =).

i used a half cup of oil instead, added a tsp of cinnamon, and used the glaze like someone else said on top (3 tbs brown sugar and 1 tbs water). it was delicious! yumm.

Best Ever Caramel Apple Crisp

delicious! i made the caramel using a half pint of heavy cream slowly added to a stick of butter, a cup of sugar, and 1/4 cup of brown sugar on medium heat. you shouldn't use all of it though cause its a lot. my family loved it.

Best Ever Cinnamon Buns

whoa these were amazing!!! my dough didn't really rise in the beginning but i rolled it out anyways and followed instructions. i let them rise for about 35 mins while they were cut and in the pan. to make them super gooey i melted on a saucepan a stick of butter with 1/2 cup of brown sugar and poured half on top and half on the bottom of the pan before i baked them and they're amazing. i also used 8 oz creamcheese, a stick of butter, 2 tsps vanilla extract, and 3 cups confectionary sugar for the icing. however the process took me half a day. so these are nice for every once in a while. thanks a lot =).

Banana Brown Sugar Pancakes

delicious, they tasted even better than pancake mix. i added baking powder to make them fluffy and it helped a lot! definitely making them again. you can use any flavor instant oatmeal. meow.

Carrot Cake III

after reading a couple reviews i replaced the 2 cups of white sugar with one cup white, and one cup light brown sugar. i made this for my fathers birthday and the first time ever i made cake from scratch. it was amazing! it was so delicious and everyone loved it. although there was a lot of icing so next time i'm gonna cut down the amount of ingredients to maybe half. but other than that it was absolutely scrumptious and i'll definitely bake it again =).
