Darra's Famous Tuna Waldorf Salad Sandwich Filling

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2012
WOW-LOVE this recipe! I was so tired of the same ole same ole tuna salad and this was the answer I was looking for! As others mentioned, I used low fat Miracle Whip and water packed tuna. I don't like tuna or chicken salad with a lot of "sauce" so I used 12 oz of tuna. Served it on toasted buns but pita would also be good. Next time I'll probably double the curry, add a little more relish and substitute onion for the shallot. I am also excited to try it with chicken! Wonderful! Can't wait to make it again.

Burrito Pie

LOVED it! Made it with a few changes but as most everybody is finding out you can't really hurt this recipe! I didn't have refried beans so I mashed black beans and left them a little lumpy for some texture, loved the chili peppers, this is a definate "keeper".

I don't eat chorizo but my husband said it was good. In our house things are just OK or they are a keeper and he said this was a keeper.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2005
In 30 years I have done a million meatloaves. I truly love this one with one change, I don't like the flavor from dry onion soup mix so I used real onions. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn....straight back to my childhood!

Melanie's Beef Barley Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2003
This soup was so good I couldn't sit still and eat it! I am a picky eater however and I don't care for lots of things so I left out the mushrooms, thyme and mixed vegies, I just added extra carrots and potatoes. I also added a little extra liquid at the end as it got real thick. I served it with crusty bread and a fruit salad-awesome!

Round Steak and Gravy I

Reviewed: Sep. 25, 2000
This is a great dish! I cooked this in a smaller baking dish and one box of stuffing was fine. Can also use this recipe with chicken & chicken flavor stuffing. Just use boneless chicken breasts (4) and bake 1 hour till chicken is done!
